To be honest, the gameplay does sound intriguing. It's definitely something I will keep my eye one. However, I would have preferred it if they had stuck with the original gameplay from the first two games. It's pretty obvious they're just using the Banjo Kazooie name to attract gamers to their new little concept instead of trying to create a completely new franchise from the ground up.

What the fuck are you idiots complaining about?

Why is the fact that you are collecting nuts, bolts, parts, and weapons - instead of feathers or stars - bad? Instead of strictly using your plattforming collectables to open new areas, you actually have to tinker around to achieve the last objective to get to your goal. Rare has always been AWESOME when it comes to puzzles, so yes - I believe they can manage to do the same all over again. You have to collect things to build? Well ok ... sounds like fun and variation.

I loved Banjo Kazooie - played through it several times. I loved Banjo Tooie ... played through it once. And I am SURE this little innovative platforming-detail Rare got going on here only will add to the gameplay.

Building things sounds like a bit of a gimmick to me, I would think it would start to get pretty boring after a while, unless the editor is a joy to use.

Wow, not at all as I would have expected. I loved the first two games to death... I have some faith that they can pull off this game and make it awesome, but I'm not positive. Looks pretty creative, lots of things to do... should be fun, but only time will tell ;)

I not so sure about what to think about this. I was really exited about having a new banjo kazooie game on the next gen but every since I read about this I hope it doesn't end up like sonic 360. I just hope the whole game doesn't only revovle around collecting and building different buildings.

That's well gay. Way to ruin the only 360 game I've ever cared about, Rare.

It could still be alright, as long as the vehicles are sort of an extra bit. Like "You need to build a helicopter to get to the next area! Go and platform for a few hours until you've got enough stuff to do it!" Rather than "You need to collect enough stuff to get to the next area! Use your helicopter to do it!"

I sure hope this is a joke the game makers are trying to pull, because if this is the actual game I will be pissed.

Its like a unwritten rule, when jumping a series from the classics back then into this gen, never be too inovative and mess with the formula.

But looking at the video again, I think that if they do it right it would be pretty fun, maybe Banjo threeie would be next in the Banjo Kazooie series after nuts and bolts, this game should be fine if the platforming is still a major part and not just to get from your different machines.

Me too, when I saw the new trailer it just looks horrible. The building looks tedius and unfun as well as the gameplay it seems like Banjo-Kazooie 3 could be named anything since it seems to lack to the core mechanics that made the series so much fun.

After thinking about the vehicles which actually looks fun. I think this game will be a fresh new start for the franchise. As long as the Single player is great , I'm sold.
