Friend's boyfriend in iraq, dead

My friend's boyfriend died in iraq. The thing is, all the money and service that would have gone to her will go to his parents rather then her. He didnt set anything or make preperations before he left. She even said she wanted to get married so that if he did die, she wouldnt have to dispute over legal issues of who gets who, or at least have a legal companion thing.

He said he wont die so there is no point.

The house was under his name, and now the parents are getting it and going to kick her out. They never liked her because of some stupid reasons.

So now she has to fight that she is saposed to get the house. She fought with him to put her name in the house as well, but he argued that he will be fine.

So in other words, if you are sent to iraq, YOU HAD BETTER MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING IN ORDER IN CASE YOU DO GET KILLED!!! to day you wont get killed is idiotic. There is always that chance. It is better to make sure if you do die, your family will be taken care of. Not to do so is the same as punching them in the face.

Her? You mean his? None the less, if it weren't for the below, the parents are in a negative for raising the kid, while the girlfriend is probably in the positive with all the useless presents, dinners, movies etc that he's given her and taken her to.

That's what my Grandfather did with Korea, and he never had to go into combat due to his intelligence. He was merely director of education at a base. :)

He was planing on marrying her after he served. He HATED his parents. He has told me times of how his father would beat him. they were terrible people. His parents dont diserve that money, and they probebly wont because 1, she has a very good lawyer, and 2, the mother is addicted to drugs.

hmm what we have here is a classic problem let me see first no offense dont be on your friends side until you know the whole stpry and not just from her and another thing shes fucked up if she wanted to get married so if he dies she gets his stuff instead of because she love him sounds like she doesnt want to work to me and she wants all his shit so she can live it up another thing they were justg boyfriend and girlfriend if it was nothing serious then why should she get his things in the first place i mean if they were togather for like 5 years then i understand but his parents should gte his things to remember him and because maby he wanted that to go to his parents i know this sounds prickish of me but that what i have to say about that
