Now, I understand your points, but here's the thing. I'd rather be playing a long, hard game that does save, rather than a game that requires at long time of playing, otherwise you'd have to start over. Because I can't play a game for 20 minutes without having to stop for around the same amount of time to go do something. Usually each time making me having to turn the game off. And when it saves, isn't that more convenient to come back to where you leave off?
Yeah, but it then makes it too easy. These days, because of saving, you are sure to win. Just try and try from the last save. The older ones, you could be at the last level, with one life left, you die, and back to the begining. Sure it is frusterating, and hard as hell, but it challenges you. Games today dont have that same challenge anymore.
And for my complaints, I guess I got too pissed about no saving, that made me observe more shitty things about the game. I bet if I played the game a little more (I played only about 20 minutes) I'd get the hang of the controls, which just seem awkward.
takes a while yest. but you get used to it
Anyway, Sonic 3 has a save function according to you guys right? Is the game fun, or at least hard?
Dont remember the save function, but havent played that in a long time
I love hard games, but only hard games that save.
Then you love hard games with a safty net.
Id love to see a game that gives you one life, and no saves, and is pretty hard. Trying to beat that would be a major challenge. I would be so up for that.
