I think it's time to quit yelling at each other over our choice systems because it's just getting ridiculous. I dont feel like getting flamed because I chose the 360 over the PS3, I dont want to get yelled at, I dont want to yell back ect. Basically, the PS3 fanboys normally yell at the 360 fanboy's about buying the 360 because of it doesn't have the all mighty graphics that the PS3 does, in the 360 fanboy's defense they say that the 360 has better online capability's and a better library of games.

But just to interrupt here for a moment, where are the Wii fanboy's at? I dont see anyone making debates that the Wii is better, wait, maybe that's because they chose to actually play the Wii instead of going to the internet trying to make the Wii look better by discrediting all the other systems. The Wii fanbase is by far the most humble out of all the system fanboys and I think that we need to adopt that.

In a way, they already have. Nintendo is riding away with this generation firmly in its grasp because it took a unique course of action and ran with it, leaving Microsoft and Sony to a massive shouting match/dick measuring contest that ended up with two bulky, extremely powerful losers.

I don't think they deserve praise for what they're doing. The interactivity they promised is only present on games that are one dimensional and 5 minutes short, while their first party titles are played exactly like they always have been only now you have a nice little mouse to point around.

Since when? Besides, anyone who truly loves FPS games plays them for PC. Can't beat mouse+keyboard. Although the Wiimote could be a great way to aim as evidenced for me by MP3 and RE: UC, but then the faggots would complain about how it makes their wrists tired :\

But anyway, I prefer my PC to consoles. I only bought a Wii because it's practically the only console who's major game line up won't also appear for PC.

Fair point, but it's a brand new concept, and they're only in their second year. Give it some time. Nintendo's going to figure out what to do with their technology, and third-party developers won't be far behind. And also, one man's one-dimensional, 5-minute game is another man's endlessly thrilling game. More seasoned gamers such as you and I demand more complex, deep experiences, but a large part of the audience that Nintendo's reaching out to have never even experienced gaming at all before.

Nintendo's just trying to get non-gamers acclimated with video games by starting slowly and simply. Baby steps. The now "casual" gamers (and their disposable income) will eventually catch up with us, and where money goes, games follow.

I hope so. I love Nintendo and I love the concept of the Wii as long as it's used to it's full potential.

Right, I understand that but at the same time they can't leave the hardcore guys behind like they have been. Even their first party stuff is showing signs of user friendliness and if they're going to pull in this casual crowd they should have just as many casual games as they do for the hardcore crowd. It makes sense from a business perspective to pander to the casual crowd but it's just wrong to fuck over all the diehard gamers who have been playing their systems since the NES.

I truly hope that's how it ends up, though I can also easily see the casuals staying casual and forcing the market to evolve to capitalize on that audience. I just don't want to see games as we know them gimped is all. Nintendo at one time made games that were just as difficult as they were fun.

Oh my, after reading all of this, people are pulling reasons out of their asses to why the ___ is better than the Wii. Oh my, Nintendo doesn't have many third-party games, or good graphics, or good online.

The developers with the third party games are way too lazy to come up with a good control scheme for the Wii. That must be the main reson, but after No More Heroes, showing that the Wii can support a superior version, we're all going to see a lot of third-party in the near future. But why there aren't many isn't actually Nintendo's fault.

I don't want to go through explaining why graphics are ruining modern gaming. Since Nintendo doesn't give in to that bull, they get to spend more time on making better games. Well isn't that nice?

Well, Nintendo is behind on online. I'd say "who cares?", well a lot of the internet peoples care. Online is great, but the 360 and PS3 are focusing too much attention on online, which sucks if you don't have an online setup. Because then you're stuck with a shitty game.

Now, the whole concept of all this arguing is even losing its small touch. Now there's no point. I'd rather the Video Game forums be filled with topics pertaining to what do people think of a certain game or series, or just the most simple of topics like who's the best video game character?

I'm open to loving other consoles, and I see the Wii and the PS3 as amazing consoles.

But nothing will EVER convince me of choosing any other console other than my Xbox 360 for a purchase.

I'm fine with the other consoles. I'll be happy with them as well. But my personal preferences lead me to PURCHASE an Xbox 360.

Because the games that are for PS3 and 360 are too powerful for the Wii, and the Wii's (good) games are Nintendo copyright and impossible to be put on the other systems due to motion control.

They're in entirely different leagues. PS3 and 360 are extremely similar in terms of library, while Wii is the oddball. And besides, Wii fans don't have much to be bragging about right now.
