I was just wondering if there is some way to make a non-crappy website for free, and you can have your own domain name?

Actually, you can register your own ".tk" domain from www.dot.tk, but that just forwards to a different web address, and puts ads on it.

Domain name, no.

Before you pay for anything, learn how to do it.
Depending on what you want to do you may want to learn html, www.w3schools.com.

You can get .info's cheap, i own lots :)
You can get .net's for a bit more, but they're still cheapish.
You can get .com's for a bit more than .net's but they're more widely recognized.

You can get hosting anywhere and everywhere, I'd recommend http://superfreehost.info (Maybe because i own it? //2)

.co.nr is the best free domain your gonna get. They don't ask for too much in return. Google the domain if interested.
Hosting is available for free. Sam owns one, i'd highly reccomend him.
And yet again, as someone else mentioned, before you think about paying for hosting and domains, learn the tricks of the trade. HTML, CSS, both simple to grasp. Check out W3Schools.com.

They do and are only used for low end websites, but if you read his post he's looking to spend nothing / a very small amount.
