for thoose who listened in history class, after the civil war the goverment was turned into a business known as a politcal engine in which, a group of people were nice to just enough people to get there vote to stay in offce and the goverment didnt care at all about the people , it was just a way for a few inividuals to get in power.

Is history repeating itself? I would have to say yes to a certain extent. In the case of discrimination and prejuduced? Yes. Rise and fall of world powers? Yes. With every rise comes a fall, and that law applies for the world and will forever. I believe that is so because of people. No group of people can ever believe the same thing, if we did life wouldnt be so interesting now would it? So yes, I do believe history repeats itself.

"He doesn't agree with me. WITCH! Burn! Burn!"
"He doesn't agree with me. Communist! Die! Die!"
"He doesn't agree with me. Terrorist! Execute! Execute!"
Yep, I'd say it repeats - though we have made SOME progress. At least a significant portion of the population is trying to stop the the third round of this...

If only The US Army of Good repeated the attempted invasion of Serbia by Austria-Hungary prior to WWI. I woulda pissed myself laughing at that one...

Well I dont think they(meaning the person) really meant repeating itself in that manner.
