Well the producers did say that there's suppose to be like a lighting effect thing that when you enter a dark hut, your eyes need to adjust so there is a couple of second of suspense there. Plus I never doubt Japanese to make scary stuff. Then again, Resident Evil 4 wasn't that scary.

About the tread, I think Resident Evil 5 will be just as good as Resident Evil 4 if not better.

Yeah, it sucked that they didn't tell you the controls in the beginning so it may have taken a while to figure out that you have a knife, but all that just adds to the game's awesomeness.

Yeah, I love shooting games, but shooting games where you can buy more weapons and even upgrade them is one of my favorite qualities in a game.

and the characters were scary.

Chainsaw guy gave me nightmares.

Resident evil 5 better have all these things. From the gameplay footage I've seen the style looks exactly like RE4's so thats good.

The gameplay and enemies are fairly similar. They do seem much faster and vicious and the over-the-shoulder aiming is there which is great. There being very secretive about it by not revealing a lot of things, but there are plenty of rumors. I'm just praying that there will be some merchant-type guy or weapon shop where you can at least buy things like what you could in RE4. But imagine being able to buy stocks, scopes, flashlights (for nightime), and upgrades for whatever weapon could possibly have such things. And maybe even buying ammo which would be unbeleivably helpful.

how do you expect RE5 to do?

Too me, resident evil 4 was super scary, it did have some shocker things, and when those werent going on, the scary music/effects always gave it a scary feel. Also not knowing whats a head.

oh yea, I hope re5 also has a cool map system like 4 did.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. My first time in the village, my hands were shaking so much I could hardly press buttons, but I never got the shotgun and I stood in the same place fighting them off because I didn't know about it. However, if you never take a step into that house during the village, you don't have to fight the chainsaw guy. But even after I got used to fighting zombies, I was always shaking. But when I thought that I simply was going to keep fighting villagers, Here comes the castle and everything was freaky. Plus the music always gets to you to bring that creepy sense when nobody's around.

I know a few things they`ll add into it, like when you look at the sun it`ll cover your screen with the light.

I don't care if for the first 90 minutes of the game you have to watch a cut scene of Chris Redfield playing with his balls while wearing a turkey suit and shitting on a piece of notebook paper, I am going to quit my job just so I can have more free time to play this game when it is released.

Anyway, I got in an interesting conversation with a friend a couple days ago. Could the Wii handle it's own version of RE5?

yea i hope they keep the Chainsaw Maniacs in the game its just aint the same in these versions of RE

I hope Capcom either cuts Nintendo out of the loop and licenses it to XBox and the PS3 exclusivley, or makes a version for the Gamecube. Probably not going to happen, but I just can't stand the Wii.

There is no racism issue. The game doesn't promote the killing of colored people because they are in fact of a non-white ethnicity. It does not teach people to fear or hate others because of their skin color, nationality or religion. The word racism gets thrown around too much these days by people who don't know what it even means.

If discriminating against people because they have been mutated by a weaponized biological agent that turned them into walking, flesh-hungry corpses, then yes the game is racist. A letter of apology should be issued to the Zombie community post haste.

I expect RE5 to kick some serious ass! i will imagine that certain areas will be like the 1st village from RE4 but with zillions moar enemies!!
