Geometry Wars... I used to love that game. I played it quite a bit back when the 360 launched. I got owned over and over again, and finally I got my best ever score which was something like 2,500,000 - 2,750,000, I can't remember exactly. Around that time the highest score was only like 5 or 6 million.
I stopped playing for a long time and came back to check scores out, the highest score now is 500 million.
... Man, do you know how hard it was to survive at 2 million? Back when my score was good my friends would message me saying "damn, nice score." Now 2 million isn't shit. 500 million, how the hell. Fuck Geometry Wars :(
My Retro score isn't so bad though. It's almost 700,000, and I'm ranked 1650. Maybe a lot less people play Retro so that's why I'm a lot higher on the leaderboards, but I also think Retro is a lot harder, even though the top people on Retro have 600 million points.
I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.
