DOOM 4 announced.

Because DOOM 3 was one of my favorite Xbox games, getting it will be a definite yes. Anyone else looking forward to it.

From what I have heard they are going to be focusing more on the run and gun of the traditional doom games than the horror.

I hope so.

Doom 3's idea of "horror" are cheap surprise scares. I hope they bring back the running and gunning, and if they add a horror element, they should use a "disturbing" type, like FEAR and Condemned.
