Ironically, I was learning about the country in school. My teacher said that the death toll was at 350 or so, and the next day it was 10,000. Now it's around 100,000. That's ridiculous, and it may not be very accurate because of the government, but that makes Katrina look like a kiddie pool wave. That must be one hell of a storm. RIP.

Don't threaten people. It makes you come across as such a fucking feel.
We're talking through PMs and the conversation was to never have gone this far on my part.
From the outside aspect, we were fighting but it was not in the sense of what everyone would've thought. We're two very outspoken individuals with differences, of course there will be words, but the words here were not for the right reasons, and because of this I am ceasing it now.
On topic; this all sucks but its not the harshest thing in the world, just apart of the life cycle.

Meh, at least, unlike a hurricane, the people we kill tend to cause more trouble then good. A hurricane kills innocent people, we just kill our enemies:P

I say cut out the middleman and send in tankers full of rice because we all know they will be needing food to prevent starvation.

Wow, what's worse than 100,000 dead in 3 days.
Honestly, let's not look to history, It is harsh.
Tell me something harsher, I'm not trying to be smart, I really can't think of anything.
And lastly: How can you say it's just part of the life cycle, just put yourself in that position, a survivor your house and family destroyed, I don't think you'd call it a part of the life cycle then...

Massive genocide of almost an entire race, being gassed, burned, tortured, and left for dead as their country land is destroyed by nature, but by an external force that wishes for nothing more than complete domination of the world.
Nah, you're right.. nothings worse.

Or how about this position? You're in the same boat but without media attention and no one gives a shit.
We all know they will get help from some source.

All I know is that soldiers from around the world will be pulling up rotting limbs for months to come in the restoration process.

Good death to all that died. i feel sad a little that about 1/16 of those people were good people, but im not very sad, and actually happy that probably 2/16 were probably horrible to everyone, 1/58 were probably going to commit crime this week, and 6/16 were most likely old run down poor people and people who lost all their money or most of it to one of their bad problems or habits, 2/16 were probably just what i call "world drainers".
I hate these people because they can get a job but don't want one, wan't money from everywhere else, spend it on resource consuming and expensive things they don't need, get food at the most expensive place in town, live with the rest for a few hours, spend it all on something useless, then waste half the stuff they bought, then ask for MORE money so that they can repeat the whole cycle again.
And the rest of the people were probably average or semi-bad/good people. But i think anyone, even me, getting hurt is funny.
Pro:What! This is madness!! Noob:madness? No,THIS IS NOOBIA!!*pwned*
its about funny cats.

Sucks for Burma... o wait. Sorry... "Myanmar..."
shudder shudder
Anyway, it really is a tragedy, but is to be expected as population density goes up. 100 years ago that storm would not have killed as many people, simply because there were less people.
So maybe proportionally, this one storm isn't any more damaging than most. Relatively, that is.
And its too bad I didn't sign on until now. Cuz I would have had some choice words for those America-haters. Seriously, get off your high European-ass horse and try to understand WHY we do what we do before painting us as evil. GAWD!
Help! I'm trapped in my own sig! Is anyone reading this?!? HELLO?!?

World War s, the Jews... hmmm.....
Torture: well? em, If I was to decide, I'd rather have one person tortured than 100,000 killed
So you would rather have one person have to experience every second of something than the instant death I'm sure many of those 100,000 faced?
Remember: Most of what you mentioned is history.

Right, we don't know whats already set up for them, what help is there, or what help is on the way. :P
All I know is that soldiers from around the world will be pulling up rotting limbs for months to come in the restoration process.
Same thing that has happened time and time again, it sucks to have to do it but its part of rebuilding and restoring life for others, it has to be done.
