Burma cyclone, 100,000 dead. 2008-05-07 16:29:07 Reply

I can't believe that a thread hasn't been made on this yet!

100,000 maybe dead!

Guys, this is a horrible tragedy as you know, and I just heard there that America are giving 10 million in AID as of today. I hope that more will come from the biggest power in the world. 10M is nothing.

But I don't know. America didn't really do well with it's own atrocity...

I personally say RIP for all those who died, and my heart goes out to all those affected. I feel awful.

Thoughts?

Although it's a maybe that 100000 people died, it came from a diplomat, they don't just make any random guess.

With the way America works nowadays, we'll probably take better care of them than we did of ourselves.

Not immature, simply well noticed.

See how many topics are made nowadays about some school being shot up? About some earthquake? None. Which you would have noticed if you read topics instead of just making them.

Stop trying to troll me. It's not working, you're just making yourself look like a feel.

Exactly, I find it hilarious how people are saying "WTF, AMERICA ONLY GAVE 10 MILLION?" Which is more then many countries, but hey, it is always our fault. In fact, I bet our government fired a few missles and said it was a "cyclone".

Oh and I'm not trying to troll you but this is the third time I saw you bitch about something recently and I felt the need to call it out.

You do have a point with all the shit being made into topics but even so, just go to politics if you wish to have an intelligent convo with someone, general isn't exactly the place to go for convos of that sense. :P

No offense to some regs that can hold an intelligent conversation though. <3

I don't call you out for every stupid post you make. I simply ignore it because I don't feel you're worth my attention.

Don't patronize me. I'm tired of hearing your sniping little insults hidden under your pathetic praise for everyone else. Keep it up and I'll get a mod who will take care of you. You won't be the first one.

It's true. I just hope they give more. I only heard about America's contribution but not anyone else's.

But to be honest, I know that all the hard work will be left to all the armies of the world. Which means the Irish and the French Liaison will be deployed.

I don't want to ruffle feathers but the American Government is the most selfish and disruptive in the world. Won't sign the global agreement to lower fuel emmissons because it would "Interfere with the American way of life"? What bollocks is that?

Aww, you make it sound as if I wish to follow your every move on this site. Don't flatter yourself sweetheart, I don't have time for childish mindgames of that sort.

Heh, as if you would really know who I am and how I associate with around here. Think as you wish but I'm not just another asshole on the internet looking for sympathy, or trying to talk shit about everyone I come across.

Oh and about getting a mod on me, for what reason? Did you write that because I actually offended you or because you know someone can actually pull more reasons than anyone else on you, and you're just afraid they would embarrass you because you can't say anything against them?

I didn't have anything against you, I just got tired of your shit.

Well, Kyoto basically targets our economy, and since China is immune from it, the emissions cut would not matter, since China would buy the oil we would not be buying. We don't like hurting our economy for no good point you know.
