I don't remember which NBA game it was (I think it was NBA Live 2005 or 06) but it was...

Be online with 10,000 Players.

Yeah... no one will get it unless they organize a meet.

Video Game Goals: Buy Final Fantasy IV DS (7/22)
Get to 200 Pokemon in Diamond, Beat Super Metroid

Most of the achievements on Sonic The Hedgehog are very difficult, actually, I think it was rated one of the hardest games for Xbox 360 in terms of achievements alongside F.E.A.R, out of those two games achievements I would say F.E.A.R has the hardest achievement called "Survivalist" where you have to get through the entire story without dying once, when I played the game I think I died about 30 times lol, hard game.

F.E.A.R's achievements were rated 9/10 in difficulty.
Sonic The Hedgehog's achievements were also rated 9/10 in difficulty.

There aren't many games that have been rated 10/10, there's Guitar Hero 2 and Tony Hawks Project 8, but I feel they deserve much lower.

"Complete Mile High Club on Veteran."

Anyone who has played Call of Duty 4 should know how hard this mission is on veteran. You are given one minute to make your way from the from the starting point to rescue the hostage. No matter what you do, the terrorists are alerted to your position right after you encounter the terrorist leaving the bathroom. Then, on top of that, all of the terrorists have better weapons (P90s, Mini-Uzis, Scorpions, shotguns, AK-74us, etc.,) compared to your silenced MP5 and silenced USP.

I personally thought that "No Fighting in The War Room" was way more difficult then the Mile High Club. It took me a lot longer to be that one.

Getting 750,000 points on a song in Guitar Hero III is the hardest achievement. The only song you can get that many points is Through the Fire and Flames on expert. You need to be a god to get that.

My friend Cheese (we call him that cause he's fat and he stinks) owns at Fire and Flames on Expert, and he got the 750,000 point achievement on Number of the Beast. I don't think that he has gotten 750,000 on Through the Fire and the Flames...

Yeah, I said it.

Are you sure? I could have sworn that Through the Fire and Flames was the only song you could get that achievement on. I even looked at
this guide and it said the same thing. Scroll down to the "Now That's Impressive achievement and read.

You must be confused or he's a liar. It's not possible to get 750k on Number of the Beast. The only other song besides Through the Fire and Flames that can net you enough points is Ernten Was Wir Saen. Unfortunately it may be just as hard as to do. You have to make it through a blistering solo and execute a near-perfect star path.

I'd definetly put that one at the top of the achievements that take pure skill. Maybe fifty people have legitimately gotten it. There are still tons of brutally hard achievements that anyone can get, but you need to grind for months. Final Fantasy XI has an achievement for maxing out every class in the game, Gears of War has one for killing an ungodly amount of people online (which used to be a lot more unforgiving before they added a gametype with respawns), Assassins Creed has flags hidden everywhere (although using a guide significantly cuts the impossible out of that one).

You are given seven minutes to destroy the nukes. That's a lot more room compared to the one minute given by Mile High Club.

Also, in No Fighting in the War Room, at least you could hide behind something to regenerate your health, because thanks to that one minute in Mile High Club, there is simply no time.

Beating Shredder on TMNT 1989 Arcade game without being zapped into a turtle. Not so much actually doing that, but actually getting the achievement. I think it gave me it after the 4th time of actually doing it. Not too upset about that, but damn. (It had happened to others playing, as well)

Perfect Dark Zero had some pretty ridiculous ones:

Play 1000 Death Match games.
Play 1000 DarkOps games.
Achieve 1000 melee kills overall.
Achieve 1000 bomb kills overall.
Achieve 1000 kills overall.
Achieve 1000 headshots overall.
Achieve 1000 sniper kills overall.
Survive 1000 rounds of survival.
Destroy 100 000 CR of property in DarksOps: eradication.
Survive 100 minutes in DarkOps.
Score 100 points in territories.
Capture the flag 100 times.
Infect 1000 players in DarkOps: infection.

Not to mention they don't go towards the achievement if you don't finish the game.

It's also a way longer run to the end.

With my strategy I had two places to regenerate my health and still have five seconds to spare. I'm not saying it is harder, I'm just saying I harder a harder time with it.

Yeah that one was frustrating. It took me three times in a row to actually get that one. What's really frustrating about that one is you can't get it on multiplayer. It would have made it a lot easier.

I've heard Guitar Hero 3 have some of the hardest achievments out there. Though the hardest achievements I encountered were on COD4 with trying to finish all the levels on veteran (including mile high club, I swear I wanted to throw my controller at the TV)

I struggled on Mile High Club for the first few hours, but I've done it so many times now I find it easy.

Usually I go through the whole level using the pistol and knife only, and then knife you bastard at the end of the level.

That is very hard, but not hard enough to be the hardest achievement ever, there are achievements out there that you have to qualify tourneys for. There are some non-viral achievements which require you to kill a developer. There are even some in which you must get X number of kills.

Personally, Multiplayer achievements are the hardest.

07 I believe.

I GOT THAT ONE THOUGH. ;)

Ummm...hardest achievement, depends if you mean time consuming or difficult. The Bejeweled 2 achievements are fucking brutal. Most XBL arcade games have one or two achievements that are just ridiculous.

But for actual games, I'd probably say it's very difficult to get a lot of the online multiplayer achievements legitimately...hence why I don't have very many, I don't really enjoy playing multiplayer online...

The Final Fantasy XI achievements are the most time consuming, and probably the most difficult. You have to invest a lot of time into the game to get all of them...
