LOL, I had to google it after he asked to make sure that's what he meant, but yeah.

I used my little vid camera on a tripod and then traced over, frame-by-frame.

rotoscoping is useful, but when I've done it I feel like I cheated myself, because I'm not really animating, I'm tracing. Honestly if you can't get a movement down in an animation or are unsure of how it should look take reference pictures, thats what I do. Just so you can refer back to them to see how it should look, but other than that, it looks pretty cool.

I did this for fun. Everyone knows I can't draw for shit, anyhow. So I will use whatever method I can when I do decide to draw. Tracing or whatever. There's not a rule against it. It gets the same thing accomplished. I might get better at drawing if I do this enough, perhaps? haha
