Some guys asked some folks what they want in a song and what they don't want in a song, and then wrote said songs. The most unwanted song is awesome, the most wanted one is alright if you like that kind of thing.

The most wanted is about 5 minutes long, the most unwanted about 21. I recommend the most unwanted highly, surely everyone must love it as much as me - it's abolutely hilarious. WIth a rapping soprano and product placement and Christmas jingles - anyway you can do your own research if you so desire.

The most wanted song drew me away when it said "Female Vocals". I knew it would be pop.

The most unwanted song is a million times better. The rapping soprano is my favourite bit. But it really is amazing.

If you listen to it the whole way through, you'll spend a few days considering how you actually could do all your shopping at Wal-Mart.

Don't worry I'm in it for the long run, I'm halfway through it.
It's such a confusing song... so much instruments at the same time... noise... children... I think I'm going insane.

Ubuweb is the bees tits! I have a strong distaste for The Most Wanted Song, it is immeroable and dull, even though it has a synth. The Most Unwanted Song, on the other hand, is fucking immense!

I.....I actually think that more than 200 people in the world like it, I mean, there is love for The Most Unwanted Song in this thread.

Damn is it great, the rapping, the dissonance, it's all very thrilling.

I think that the rapping soprano sounds a lot like that cooking chicken in Parappa The Rapper.

The most wanted song is ridiculously lame. What age group determined this survey?

It was probably universal, everyone I know listens to stuff like that.

Oh man, never introduce me to people you know.
It sounded like some sort of jazz blues mixed with some R&B, I don't go for that.

I think everyone must find the most wanted song at least bareable, and I do think maybe 30-50 year old women might actually enjoy it. Although obviously it's terrible. The most unwanted song, surely everyone must find brilliant.

I don't think this is supposed to be scientific or anything - the guys who did it are (apparently) conceptual artists and the most unwanted is a really good representation of a deliberately bad song. Which makes it fantastic.

The thing is though, it's still got rhythm and it's very entertaining and it keeps you enthralled and gripped throughout. But deliberately unlistenable music, like grindcore or drone or dark ambient or whatever, Sunn o)) for example - I love that shit. Maybe 25 minutes of loud static would be more unwanted, but it wouldn't really be entertaining or good art or anything.

I do agree that 25 minutes of loud static would be mst unbearable, but what if someone played with the tone and pitch to make a melody using the static. That could be interesting.

It's what most people mistakenly call R&B. urban is stuff like Usher and the like.

The most unwanted song is so much better. It's got bagpipes in it at one point, hahaha.

There's a couple other examples of what a staticy music piece might be like.

The wanted song sounds like a parody that could be played on South Park or something... are people honestly not tired of hearing "baby" rhyme with "maybe"?

of course they aren't, people are thick and unhcultured. have you ever heard of a band called Scouting For Girls? They peddle shit like this. This band and others like them are the big thing in my country.
