Hah, my award was stolen Sunday when Ninja Quest was submitted. It turned out, it was a stolen game, and nabbed my daily 5th, as well as pushed back others submissions down an award spot. :(

It's honestly not quite that fair. I think alot of animators have been cheated of worthy awards needed. And something has to be done about it. :/ About a year ago, A pal of mine submitted an animation in which was in the daily top 10, in the six spot -- And sooner or later, the top five -- one of the submissions was deleted due to copyright issues and his was pushed up a notch and claimed the award.

It's a shame though, that it's not possible to do this at the moment.

Haha wow. I remember when Review Crew pick was a formidable award to receive... now it looks like a bunch of idiots are always going to try and steal it every week. Looks like we're going to have to keep our eyes on every single submissions and their reviews... or you could just delete all of the accounts related to that kind of stuff before it happens again :)

I also remember when Turd of the Weeks were some rare horrible flash submissions that would, who knows how, manage to get saved and would then get downvoted by all the people saying "How the hell did this get saved?"

Nowadays all the Turd of the Weeks are just people aiming for it avidly... when it's supposed to be a shameful award. Well have fun with your turds... or your account deletions :P

I'm sorry I only submitted an animation to the portal, several clocks helped me because im a total n00b at flash and now one of them is gone from NG and the submission is lost... I didn't vote with an alt, I didn't reviewed with an alt and as far as my knowledge goes none of my fellow clocks did that either, and if they in fact did reviewed with an alt they can have their review deleted, not necessary to delete the submission.

Not a personal vendetta? Erasing a TOTW? Yes Wade... I'd like to believe you but this is in fact a personal grudge you have against the CC. This is a shame. I thought that after 9 years in this place you'd have a little bit of common sense but apparently when CC members are involved you just lose it, sad sad sad.

Let alone the SS, KK, and CC -- There is a problem with thieves around here as well. It's good to know that their accounts will be terminated, but it really fucking sucks that the system can not fix itself after the abuse has been done.

That's where Newgrounds need a justified code to overhaul the awards up the list, or something. But I'm sure it's not as easy as it sounds, let alone are the workers and programmers busy with other stuff.
