before we start, yes i have already looked at the help page and downloaded several audio programs, none which i found like i want. every time i listen to the audio portal on the techno page it seems everyone is using the same program... im wondering what program that is and if its free or a page i can look at.. plz help

Have you tried Sonar 6? I don't use it, but I've heard of it.

It probably be good to know what you want to do with it... go try some demos or find free versions of stuff, there must be something useable.

It could be FL Studio, Reason, or GarageBand. I think those are the three most commonly used programs used by NG artists. But remember that it doesn't have to be the program that makes a song sound one way, but rather how you use the program.
