Metal Gear Collab / Pico Stuff

Alright before I begin - Luis has announced the winners for the Pico art contest, and neatly organized them onto a slick page - go check em' out! Some really good stuff in there, great job fellas!

Second - hit Tom's latest post for the Pico Day 2008 winners, just in case you've missed it!

OKAY...

IMPORTANT REMINDER - THERE'S ONLY 15 DAYS LEFT TO SUBMIT A METAL GEAR COLLAB PIECE. This should be more than enough time if you haven't started yet.

So far this collab has been an absolute disaster that we regret more and more as the deadline draws closer. There, I said it. Here's a few tips:

1. STOP SENDING CARDBOARD BOX JOKES. PLEASE. AGAIN, IN CASE YOU SOMEHOW OVERLOOKED WHAT I JUST SAID, STOP SENDING US CARDBOARD BOX JOKES. PLEASE.

2. If you're not going to try then don't bother sending us a piece. We seriously expected more from the community on this one. I mean, I know I sound like a pretentious asshole and all, but JESUS. CHRIST. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. THIS IS LIKE FAIL DEFCON DELTA CODE RED SHIT OVER HERE. No, seriously, on a 1 - 10 scale - lets say Blamformers is a 10, just for shits, right - well this collab is precariously teetering back and forth on top of a 1. I have never, in my ENTIRE time here at NG, seen so many poor, lazy, WORTHLESS submissions in such great quantity. It's absolutely MINDBLOWING. Seriously, if we released this 'collab' right now with all the best pieces, it'd be 2 minutes long and most people would cut it off halfway through.

3. SEE #1 AND REALLY TRY TO LET IT ALL SOAK IN.

wow its such a shame almost everyone on ng SUCKS at Flash, seriously if u think about it there are some pretty shitty submittions on ng,well not some, ALOT!, mine arent the best but through time i will get better, on the other hand, there are good submittions, as u can see in za top 50,ANYWAYS, the problem is that its only like what 30 seconds per each movie, so mst people are gonna get lazy and do shitty card board box jokes, it was funny when u first saw the box, but now its just rediculous, stamper is right, be more original and stop the SHITTY BOX JOKES!
