I never revised for them and I did find. Just relax. And good luck.
coincidentelly we had ours yesterday.i decided to do mine in senior year though.
No one gives a shit about SATs.
Just get on and do them. No need to waste your time outside the exam room.

Yerp, I have all the Maths ones tomorrow, what tiers are you doing?
ha ha! I've already done my SATs and got good scores....... GCSE Exams in a couple weeks.... :|

Agreed. I have a good memory so I don't need to revise much. By the way, once the SATs are over the teachers will let you know that they're not important and they only decide what set you go in for each subject.
For the record, I got 7, 8, 7.
I see a trend coming on in this thread.

Yeah, I was just saying in case people maybe attributed my annoyance to a personal failure.
No one needs SATs. In this country from Year 10 onwards there are four years of solid exams, more if you go to Uni. People waste time preparing for SATs when they should be thinking about GCSEs.

Yeah. Still put some effort into it though, good scores get you in higher sets, with a lower percentage of idiots to obstruct your learning so it helps you in the long run but it doesn't really count towards anything in later life.

k, half of that didnt make sense to me. Ill say it differently. They don't matter when you're applying for jobs/colleges, but they help you get into better classes to prepare you for your GCSEs.
SATS?
Hahahahaha
don't worry those are pathetic you can pass them with no effort at all.
I have AS level test things in 2 weeks, now that is me being fucked.

Umm, not necessarily true. I got Level 8 in Maths and now I'm in the top set. Our teacher often teaches us AS stuff and half the time I've got no fucking clue what he's on about.

SATs and GCSEs were piss, and I scraped through my first set of AS exams getting the grades I wanted. I'm actually having to put work into revising for the next set that starts next week, though.
I didn't even bother doing my SAT's. I pretty much saw it as a huge waste of time, well for me at lest. I just signed up for community college today. I plan on doing my two years there and then transfering to a UC or maybe just a state school and doing 4 years there. Either way I never took the SAT's and I'm doing just fine.

Unless I got brutally tricked by the school system, you don't have SATs up here in Canada.
But I never really study for tests, except the really important ones.
SATs were both easy and fucking pointless. Well, they were a good morale boost, but educationally worthless.
Good news to all the people getting bummed out by having harder exams, when you get to university, the first year doesn't mean anything, so fuck revision and party! I'm gonna start trying next year though, honest.

Had the first test today. Maths. It was fucking piss. I haven't revised at all, and I answered all bar 3 questions. (Thats over 3 tests) and I was done with each one half an hour into the alloted hour.
SAT's are nothing, and I mean NOTHING to worry about. Seriously, they don't determine anything - it's GCSE's and A-level's you have to look out for.

He's an idiot then. Whats the point in teaching you AS level stuff if he hasnt tought you the higher level GCSE stuff?

SATS that would make you 13/14 someone was underage when they signed up.
