Yeah... I'm a complete noob when it comes to computers, and the internet in general, but i really wanna get started on a freelance VA career on newgrounds. helping artists and whatnot. i saw how if i wanted to showcase my talents i could post a demo onto the audio portal where anyone could see what i'm worth. i'm seeing how a lot of people mix their recordings with music to make them more interesting.

so, what i'm really asking is: What would be the best way to make a demo? Should I mix it with music, or just have my voice going? And, if so, who can i go to for music mixing help? I'd appreciate some help very much!

I wrote some tips here which may be of use to you:

But really, one of the best ways to learn how a demo should sound is to listen to those of professional voice actors. I often go to voicebank.net and check out some of the good animation reels when I'm in need of inspiration.
