I just don't understand why America hates Canada?

America is one of the most hated country's in the world, with the war in Iraq & the 'big corporate fat cats' , with people like Michael Moore showing that people are being left on the streets instead of being helped when they are ill, most people hate America!

I don't hate America, most people in America are normal people, who work a job & live their lives, same as me, but i just don't see why America can hate a country so close to them??? any answers?

The same reason every other country dislikes every other country. Because they are different and people feel the need to say they are better.

If they did, a war would have broken out by now, just look how close we are together.

Obviously in every country there a racist people whether your american, australia, french, greek, african. And those people pick out the bad thing about that country and mislead other people to believe it.

I personally dislike Canada because they act like they're better than America.

In some aspects they are, but in the end, every country in the world sucks.

Because American politicians are constantly crowing about how America is the last bastion of freedom and democracy on the world, and yet right on our doorstep is Canada, a nation more democratic than us.

Lets face it, the American system of government is beginning to crumble and we're just pissed because the combination of politicians bloated upon special interest money (Pork) aren't willing to change a thing.

For instance:
The government wont legalize marijuana because politicians curry favor with the majority by coming down hard on such things. The destruction of marijuana grown in the united states costs our government a great deal of resources, time, money and manpower, It also opens up the opportunity for marijuana to come in through the border.

The ironic thing is that it would actually HELP the economy if Marijuana was made legal, because almost all of it would be grown Here, thus eliminating the criminal middleman.

There is a lot of things that the government doesn't do or wont fund, for asinine reasons, and there are things that it does sanction, that are completely Farked up.

Also becuase they are crackers. If we made fun of Mexicans, it would be racist and mostly un-funny.
