Ok, so ive run into this problem several times, where i have something to talk about or ask people, and i decide whether it should be in the VG forums or general.
For instance, if i want to talk about COD4 im obviously going to the VG forums, but what if i have an IMPORTANT question, where i might want more than 4 views and 1 reply? What if i want the benefit of the 150 users online and not the 40?
An example of this is my little brother's red ring of death problem and i simply asked who and how to contact about this. I posted that topic a minute ago, and was immediatley locked before i got any real answer.
So, tell me, do you think the seperation is fair?
My suggestion(s) is to call it something more vague than Video Game Forum, and have it right under the General Forum. Maybe Platform and Game Forum? PnG, easy.
Lets see how long it takes for this thread to get locked, im going for a hot streak.
ps. i would like to thank Twighlight95 and gumonshoe for their helpful responses. btw, Twilight's idea of letting it sit did the trick, apparently my brother cant comprehend the idea of "unplug, plug", i had assumed he tried that already.
