I was looking for a sprite sheet when I found the one I wanted, but instead of having a white background like usual, it had a red one. How can I use the sprites if I can't take off the red background?

The background colour shouldn't make any difference. If you know how to do sprites properly you won't have any problems, unless the things you are trying to get are red than you can't use it.

no, If I keep the background, it will be a red square with a sprite in it being animated on an entire white screen. and that will look bad.

What he means is that it works the same way to remove a white as a red background from sprites. Apparently you haven't removed it before though, just had a "white backgrounded sprite" on a white stage?

That's why you go to modify bitmap, trace bitmap, then make sure the settings are 1, 1, pixel, and many corners.

yea thats how u do it but i use 1,100,pixels, normal
