Understandable, but I know on a small basis that most of my friends are sick of hearing the song so much, so it must go for a vast majority of the world.
It's not a bad song, you guys just love to hate music, is all.
Ahh, were not that bad. Were more of the types who will hate a band which goes generic mainstream and then think they have 'sold out' whereas, in their shoes, it's just paying the bills and moving to a bigger house, which we would all do.
they'd probably value your input that they play something too much. If there's enough people saying they don't want to hear Nickelback as often, then maybe they'll stop playing it.
I guess there's a good suggestion. I'll end up writing to Kerrang, Scuzz and MTVtwo (the only channels I listen to) just to tell them to stop overplaying songs. +1 complaint.
But when you're coming to Newgrounds to find a common hatred of Nickelback among the userbase, you're pretty much doing the exact same thing you decry the radio stations for doing--sounding like a broken record.
Don't know if that was a generalization of this thread or aimed at myself, but I don't dislike Nickelback at all. I think they're good at what they do and good to listen to. Maybe the only songs released are aimed at a more mellow mood, not a lot of songs by them psyche you up, but I still like them. I just blame music channels and radio stations for whoring them out.
