Sup guys. I don't really see the point of making a whole bunch of threads with each one containing just one of my artworks and about 4 responses, so I'll just post all my artwork here. I'll spit out something maybe once a week for ya guys ;)

So here's my first thing I'm gonna show ya. I made this in school actually, but I think it turned out pretty nicely. It's Pete Townshend of The Who. What I did was sketch him from a photograph on to cardboard and then I started placing pieces of magazine in the appropriate places. (e.g. skin tones go on face, darker pieces where the hair is. I only did one section at a time, so the rubber cement wouldn't dry up. The darker area on his shirt wasn't really on purpose, but now that I look at it, it looks kinda like a shadow.

So, here's where I'll post all my artwork anyways :D

The second one is just FILTER RAPE. You can do that with an effect in Photoshop (or Paint.NET). That's not exactly artistic.

But the first one, that one's nice. It must've taken lots of effort. I like the hair on the guy.

Just one more. It's an old drawing of a snowman. I fucked up on the shadow though, it should be behind him, not to the side, since the light of the moon is facing him. Ah well, I don't really feel like fixing it, snaping a pic, uploading, blah blah blah.

You have potential to be a great artist. While it may not look it right now, you're going to get a lot better. The trick is that you have to keep drawing and don't stop drawing.
