Caffinated comics. 2008-05-02 18:15:48 Reply

Hey, what can I say? I have way too much free time. I'm actually in the process of building a website to put my comics on, it's nowhere near done though.
This is actually the second, the first is really dumb and un-funny, though. More people will enjoy this. I'm completely open to all suggestions, criticism, and compliments.
Happy art-ing!

looks dirty, can't read most of the comic, also seems unfunny judging by the clue.

Can't read it? Dang. Most people on my other forums can...I'll see what I can do about that.
Also, that one I made for a person on another forum. I like it, though.

the last character you drew looks rather stiff, it doesn't strike out a pose, so do the characters on your comic. posemaniacs could be a worthwile look if you want your characters to strike out a pose, it would really raise the bar higher for the overal quality of the comic. and you don't have to rely on facial 'humor' to get laughs. i use posemaniacs myself too when i'm in need of some questions regarding anatomy.

Your comics blow ass, abandon sticks.

I would REALLY not make a site for those comics.
It's kinda a waste of time and possibly money..
You should make people that aren't sticks and spend more time.
I can see that you've got potential.
I also can't read it though, and judging by the context, it doesn't look that funny.

Half the reason for the site is that I just want to practice HTML, and I just wanted something to put on it. I also don't see what you mean by facial 'humor'. I don't do jokes with the faces or with facial expressions, I do it with context and swear words. :P
Yeah, my figures tend to be a bit stiff, mostly because I'm just not good with forming the back and stuff well. I used to draw people(Anime-style.) That was just terrible, but if you want to see some of that, I've got a couple from a few months back.
This one was just an attempt at shaping faces correctly. I personally would rather draw the sticks in <1 minue than spend three days on a crappy drawing like this one.

i am positive that creating an online comic isn't in your league right now. try getting into drawing some more, develope your own style that people will appreciate.
