I've tried the Mario double jump. And yes, its easier than a midair double jump.

Then after about 100,000 tries I realised it was physically impossible.
Then I tried the triple jump off Mario 64 and NEARLY did it. Honest!
And if we run outta bullets? Heh, baby, they're gonna wish we hadn't....

I tried to do the Jak & Daxter one.
Even a double jump that small is impossible.

I've tried. When I was six I discovered that if you throw your chest up in mid air you get a sort of half a centimetre boost, and so I called it a double jump, but to be fair it isn't really.
