Technically it's not a VST (I think..) , but I prefer to use 3xOsc for most of my stuff, very versatile. For pads though I use Nexus.

i use reason as rewire..

hmm my favourite vst... I think id have to go with Hypersonic.. its the msot flexible one ive found - even if i CANT get hypersonic 2 to be licensed.. hypersonic 1 still rocks.

after that I guess nexus would be my next fave, followed by The grande 2, which I somehow obliterated on vista by getting hypersonic to work - but it was either one or the other, and I don't use the grande 2 much..

Hm. This is definitely hard. I LOVE Thor, but its not a VST. When it comes to VSTs, I gotta say Phoscyon. Its the bread and butter of any electronic artist's arsenal. In the eternal words of Fatboy Slim: Everybody Needs a 303!

WASP = leet. Easy to manipulate and goes with my musical style.

3xOsc and Nexus are my two workhorse synths.
Now as for EFFECTS, I could go on for ages. But I like NaiveLPF, Maximus, and Ohmicide.
