I'm calling up my ISP (Telewest, if you're interested) tomorrow because I'm sick of my internet cutting out or going at stupidly slow speeds. Is there anyway that I could try and get then to give me any extras to stay with their service?

Say "I would like to stay with you guys but I'm trying to create data on the internet but I have to save a lot so I don't lose it. I may be switching to another provider if you guys cant fix it or give me some other benefits for this" or something along those lines.

We haven't actually been paying them for the past year, but it's their fault as they screwed something up with the billing thing.

I'm thinking of going to 02 Broadband, it's cheaper, faster and it's number one on speedtest.net's Broadband list.
