P.S. Did he not bring his guns or anything? Why does he only have a pistle, in the intro he said he's been there for a month, but he only has a pistol, and didn't search anything, WTF?

He got on a helicopter, and expected to finally get out of the infestation zone. Even if he thought of bringing his shitload of guns, they likely wouldn't have let him.

Then Why didn't he get any weapons from the helicopter, sure he might've been in a filed and had to run away but that speculation. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

I know, I was hoping for some huge ass fight between however big the population of the city is, and me with my bow and chainsaw, and my 4 survivors with m4s, AKs, Hunting Rifle, and revolvers.

Hmm... dosen't lag for me, probably because I have one fast computer (I can load 10 mb flash games in like 15 seconds tops)

And I also didn't get most of the bugs mentioned...

Well, I now downloaded the flash (just right click the link to the full screen version and save as) and can now play it without the server lagging it!

I suppose he'll release it on newgrounds when he irons out all the bugs.

What the fuck, this seems harder than the first one to me, I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've started over three times, and I keep getting fucked up. I haven't found the bow ONCE, and I keep getting shit for supplies, so I'm stuck until I search EVERY fucking house.

I found that game to be quite a step down from the first game. The difficulty has been ramped way up. Now, a bit more difficulty isnt a bad thing, but this is ridiculous. The nights are about 3 times longer,more zombies show up more frequently, and the barricade "health" has been lowered by half. The game suffers from some lag issues, but here is the weird thing: when I am facing lag, the zombies move at the speed they normally do, but the character you control moves slower. So, my character lags but not the zombies. This leads to some very long reload times that can sometimes end up in my barricade taking lots of damage.

Giving survivors weapons sounds neat on paper, but they don't do jack shit with them. That leads me to another thing: dissapointing survivor AI. It hasn't been improved at all since the last game. I mean, I know the creator probably dosen't want super smart survivors that do all the work for you, but when you hand a survivor a gun, they fire it about once per 30 seconds. I also found the "equipment" to be quite useless. Since you can only place them in certain spots that most zombies walk around, they aren't that effective.

And finally, the new searching system is dissapointing. In the old game it was fun just the way it was:survive one day, look for weapons, survivors, or build the barricade, then survive another day till you won. In this one, it all depends on how lucky you are. You could use all of your points, get lucky, and get some supplies to move on to the next level...Or, you could use them all, find nothing important, and have to survive another round.

Oh, and even though it dosen't matter that much and I forgot to read them quite often, I miss the little diary notes that now only seem to pop up when you advance to a new city, and aren't near as interesting as the old ones(all he talks about in the new ones is getting to Union City). I rate this game a 5/10, because it is kinda fun, but needs a lot of improvements.

i also thought of four revisions...
1. obviously fix the lag and the glitches

2. improve the survivor AI, perhaps allow positioning of the survivors and maybe a behavior option for example allow them to set to guard mode so they only shoot when zombies come within a certain range or aggresive mode where they unload on any zombies therfore more reloads

3. a neat feature would be allowing you to choose how to construct your barricade, i saw many different items in the backround it would be cool if you could put together different barricades of your choosing

4. add some different zombies in, i got bored of seeing the same zombies just cloths tweaked a little
a cool idea would be crawling zombies so that if you shoot the legs off they continue to crawl and do as much damage as dogs if arriving at teh barricade

well since some of you are annoyed, when you cant fire pause the game (press esc) and then unpause and you can fire again XD

and i take the turbo round as a bonus :) (and its possible too complete) ;) if you wanna complete the turbo round do your first run basically without getting anything (trying to leave out the best weapons, i suggest getting the comp bow on first run and leaving the chainsaw) but ja... its a great game :)

ACTUALLY, you dont really need to do that, unless you dont really know how to protect your barricade and spent 5 hours fixing it, you probably have no time to search in houses, you dont need to search all you know? in the first town you can get 5 suppiles, 4 is enough to get you to the 2 nearest towns...

Ive finished it, but Im not telling anyone what happens.

Also glitches in this game as well.

1) Survivors appear on the main menu when you finish the game
2) reloading glitch
3) enemies freezing sometimes (Unless I had internet problems.)

That could have been that you placed a bear trap.

Also, I noticed that the AI got smarter. When I played the first time they barely shot. Now they are shooting more often

One glitch fixed from the origanal was this: If you held down the shoot button in the origanal then pressed space to switch weapons, the switched weapon would have the fire rate of the first weapon. One thing I did was turn on my chain saw, then, while stil holding down the left mouse button, clicked space, and then my shot gun was one kick *** machine gun. Now, you can't switch weapons while your shooting.

Hi guys, thanks for pointing me to this thread, McZero.

Yeah, I'm debugging the game, hence the reason it's locked to ArmorGames at the moment. So here's the deal:

v1.1 Bugs included:
- Guy disappearing
- Survivors disappearing
- Survivors not shooting after being given the pistol

v1.2 Known bugs:
- Nights not finishing towards the end of game
- People getting stuck because they don't have enough supplies...
- Guns jamming (not firing)

If you've got any feedback useful info includes:
- What version you're playing (on the menu screen)
- Which location it occurred at
- What weapon you're using when it happened
- What you were doing (running to top of screen or something similar)
- How long you'd been playing the game
