Oh, crazy religious bitch gets shot by the clerk with glasses.
That old lady was so kick-ass though. She took fucking bug spray and a lighter to a giant spider, and she threw peas at crazy religious bitch

The mist was an alright film. It was a little gory in places it didn't need to be. They never mentioned the Flat Earther term, which I always thought was clever. I actually read the Novella "The Mist", and I didn't like it that much. King never really added an ending to it, so Darabont had to write one. Anyways . . . Yea I will admit a lot of his stories endings suck. As for the dark tower . . . Well its the journey, and not the destination that matters. However a lot of his books have pretty good endings, Pet Sematary for example. And finally . . . Dean Koontz aint nothin' compared to Stephen King. After reading "The Bad Place" I made a promise I would never read another one of his corny, over the top, pathetic novels again. He fucks everything up. The story, the dialouge, and the worst thing he fucks up is the mentality of all his characters. Well theres my two cents

I read Koontz's Frankenstein trilogy and nearly cried when he made Victor Frankenstein a two-dimensional "Bond villain"-esque megalomaniac.
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

The movie is exactly the same as the book up until the ending. The ending is completely different from the book, and although I read the story before I saw the movie... I like the movie ending better. Extremely depressing, though.
Really? I was the exact opposite - I liked the book ending a lot more than the movie ending.
I mean, the book ending sorta left the fate of the world and the characters unresolved, but compared to the movie ending, it was happy. The movie ending just left me feeling sad and depressed.

Just finished watching this. Pretty awesome film. Did anyone find it a bit anti-american though?
Faceless characters of the soldiers
Event is the fault of the American army
Potrays christian religion in a bad light
I think there are a few more. I like how it touched on the desperation of humans.

I read the short story of it a long time ago and it ends nothing like the move. But usually movies don't do the book they're based off of justice but that's not the case here.
It really kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and had me thinking about it for days afterwards.
