Personally, i use Garageband; it came free with my laptop and it's the easiest to use program i've been able to use. (I have to use Cubase in my school - ridiculously tedious imo =X )

Yeah, thats what i use. (I LOVE MY MAC!) it's a pretty cool program.(I LOVE MY MAC!)
