This forum is too serious

i cant be bothered reading many of the uninformed and badly spelled civics essays that some people write on whatever subjects going at the moment, its largely boring and alot of time is spent trying to fend off and flame short sighted opinionated assholes who dont know what they're talking about. people shouldn't take it all so seriously, its only an internet forum so lighten up and try to get along with your fellow man/woman (political correctness strikes again)

i dunno why i made this topic, but if you want to post your view how the hordes of opinionated assholes keep being stubbornly n00bish in the face of reason, logic and solid facts, go ahead

He has a point though. His opinion differs from yours; does that make his opinion wrong? His comment is as constructive as yours because most of us are well aware of this unfortunate fact. If you dont enjoy this forum then you can choose not to post here. Remember, its your choice; everyone has free will and is entitled to their opinion...you may or may not disregard them as stupidity, its your choice.

I've gone to much better debating forums, that are all the more serious. If you are looking for fun, go to General. I try to avoid the general forum lately, it is surrounded by immaturity.

I personally like having a place like this where I can offer up anything I think and see how people respond. I don't consider myself to be highly political but I do enjoy voicing my opioions and having people honestly consider them.
Plus, people do not think in the written word, its ideas that matter.

well, to be honest, there IS a lot of frivolity on the politics forum. For example, the regulars lounge thread, or any thread concerning france *kicks a frog*. It's all about knowing where to look. We try to keep the silly buggers grab ass games in different threads than the hardcore reply to every sentence with a rebuttal debates.

And people in the politics forum are more likely than not debating, so most people dont harrass others, unless they dont have a good argument. Harrassment usually goes on in general from what ive seen...
