Same resolution, I used to use my 35' HDTV for it but the resolution wasn't favorable and it was widescreen.

I have a different resolution. Mine was 800x600. It work work if I switch it to 1024x768. So, I chose this resolution.

A new monitor isn't necessarily going to support a higher resolution; the pixels might just look bigger. It's a combination of what your graphics adapter aaaaaaaand display support.

My 17'' laptop screen has a res of 1680x1050 whereas my 37'' HDTV only supports up to 1360x768.
