Just to refresh your memory:

Okay, so the premise for this thread is pretty simple. I put together a list of the top 10 games of all time from various Nintendo consoles as voted on by YOU, the users. Even though you see these kinds of lists all the time in gamer mags and sites, I would be interested in seeing one reflecting the views of NG.

The following lists cover 4 game systems: SNES, N64, GameCube and DS. There may be more at a later date. All Top 10 links go to a happy GameFAQ's page with loads of useful info.

The WTF Award: One of my favorite games, Mega Man X, barely even registered a vote. For shame.

The Sad Faic Award: Tom Fulp's very own Alien Hominid was only a slight blip on the radar when the votes were tallied. Awww. Still, it got more votes than Soul Calibre II!

Honorable Mention: After losing the console war, Sega went quiet for a while. Then they came out with games such as Sonic Rush. Missed out on 10th spot by a hair.

The Self Sabotage Award: I really enjoyed playing Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy. It could have been great; worthy of Top 10 lists everywhere. Unfortunately, the developers decided to make it a glitch fest instead.

N64 was really the only system of Nintendos that I played a lot. For the most part, I agree with that list although a few of my favorites didn't make it.

I honestly believe, chronotrigger should of been higher than what it was. Definetly better than donkey kong country. Alot of you mario fans out there.

Perfect dark is better than paper mario, and paper mari shouldn't even been on the list. Godo game, but not that good for best of all time. Rest I agree with.

No. just no. Sorry, mario parties are fun, but cheat sooo damn much FOR the computer. But yeah, still a fun game with friends.

Yeah, Chronotrigger is a great game. One of the best. If it was my personal list, it would be higher up as well ;)

Super Mario 64 DS was a dissapointment because there is nothing good on the roof you spend all that time finding out were all the stars and and getting them all and theres nothing on the roof! Mari and Luigi partners in time was a great game probley should be higher because brain Age wasn't very good.

Yeah, Chronotrigger is a great game. One of the best. If it was my personal list, it would be higher up as well ;)

It was one of the few games I would not put down until I got almost every ending. My favorite was the Chronoless ending.

Pikmin 2 only got slightly less votes than Pikmin 1. Occasionally, a game with sequels will skew voting type things, as the voters are not always specific with their titles. Some of them could have put Pikmin down and actually meant Pikmin 2. While the sequel is generally regarded as a little bit better than the original, some people just prefer the first in a series over sequels, so yeah ;)

Hah, yeah. I was actually surprised at the amount of people who listed Brain Age. It Wouldn't be in my top 10. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is one of my favorite DS games. I would have liked to see it higher too.

Even friends of mine who aren't particularly big on Nintendo and/or consoles enjoyed Chronotrigger. It's simply a brilliant game. Perhaps I should do an RPG list... It would be high up there indeed.

Though seeing as it was a popularity vote, I can understand why it wasn't higher up on the list. It's not quite as mainstream as some of the others which beat it.

Lol, maybe I was tripping a bit with NBA Jam and Secret of Mana (Still great games though), but I was quite surprised that neither Earthworm Jim and Harvest Moon made the list. In fact, Harvest Moon only got two votes in total! Shocking.

Well, SMW and SMAS are actually two separate games. I do realize they were bundled together on some cartridges, but it doesn't seem right to lump them together on lists such as this. Also, I had never even seen the two games combined until I came across an article on the internet. I doubt they were ever sold in tandem over here. I had two separate cartridges ;)

Anyway, I think it is up there, since it is where the EPIC Smash Bros series started, and it deserves a mention because of that.

They were pretty much the exact same game, except PD64 added so many improvements to the system....lol.

Hell, they even brought back the best maps from Goldeneye....
