preloader contest

theres been many contests in the past including a banner contest where the winning banners was added to the site for us to use, BUT as far as i know there has never ben a preloader contest meaning the only preloaders ng has to offer is there own which are all very simular.

So i thought why not do a preloader compertition

If enough people decide to join this and take part i'll message tom or whoever and see if we can get the winners preloader (plus 2nd and 3rd place too perhaps) added to the current ng preloaders available.

Rules:
-The preloader must have newgrounds advertised on it somewhere so the word 'Newgrounds' with a link to the site on press.
-No porn
-The preloaders will be made available to the public!!!

Ill need some judges too so if anybody would like to be a judge just ask...but you CANT be a judge if your taking part in the contest!!!

If we cant get the preloaders added to the current ng ones then the top 5 will be available on the forums with links to download them.

closing date july 25th

post your preloaders on spamtheweb and put the link in this topic.

hmm moving slower than i hoped tho, just 1 judge so far, hopfully once 1 person joins it will inspire more people to give this a go.

I'm sure there are tons of people who are excellent at making preloaders.
This competition just sounds a little iffy.

Like, imagine the expression on the peoples faces when they realise Tom Fulp said no to the winning preloaders, they'll have done all that hard work for nothing, and if you do post them on the forums, what makes you so sure people are going to want to use them?

And how can you be so sure the judges aren't going to have a biased opinion towards certain preloaders?

i understand...but i diddnt see the point in bothering tom untill i knew this would take off, on second thoughts tho i may decide to contact tom because i think there is intrest in this but like you said atm there achieving nothing by winning unless tom agrees.

as for the judges im going to have quite alot of judges if i think any of the judges arnt doing there job correctly i will simply remove them.

messaged tom a couple days ago and still no reply as of yet :l but i still want this compertition to go ahead and maybe i will hear a reply from tom soon.
Or maybe i should send a pm to some1 else regarding this?
