Hey,
does anyone know how (if it is possible?) to do a crayon effect in flash. like it had been drawn with a crayon without actually drawing it with a crayon?

Use fireworks/photoshop to draw it then import it into flash.

Take the line tool and make it really thick on the properties panel, then change the line properties from "hairline" or "solid" (whatever it defaults to), to the 2nd last one, it should be like a poorly sketched ish one. I think this could make for a substitute, but its not exactly crayon. What do you think?

I've never actually thought about this but is that possible to do in ActionScript? Anyone knows?
I looked it up in the LiveDocs (both as2 and as3) but couldn't find anything. You'd think it would be possible...

cold you make it randomly genrate a certain amount of dots of random shades of green but only inside a line that you draw?

You can find a "custom" button in the line properties panel. I created this crayon-like line messing about with the settings, you can get the effect doing that too.
