Rockman RPG announced for GameCube

Rockman is now officially being made into an RPG. Thats right, an RPG. The games name as of now is "Rockman X: Command Mission" or for the english version "Megaman X: Command Mission." This game will be released in America. The graphics are Cel-shaded/3D and the game takes place in the Rockman X7 time.
Coming to GameCube in 2004.

Thats not all, there are 4 announced charecters. Rockman, Zero, Axl, and a new female charecter. Apparently this game is like Final Fantasy in some ways, you travel around in 3rd person, and fight in a FFX kind of way. Not much other than that is known.

Because Rockman X7 is not in english yet, not a lot of us have it. So I do not know the storyline of X7. My guesses are that CM will either go deeper in the story, take place before, or take place after. Let me find and post the story of X7.

i agree, its also true that f you own an "rpg" its probably not an rpg if its on a game console. when are you retarded 12 year olds going to learn that its not an rpg if the story is completely linear and you are forced along a set path of character development and are also faced with almost no variation in dialogueaside from trivial bullshit that affects nothing in the game? ooooooh, ff7 was the best ever because you could raise motherfucking chocobos and coollect materia! BULLSHTI the only rea rpg on any console is elder scrolls III: morrowind for xbox. the only other true role playing games are found on pc and on pieces of paper, and in supplement books and twenty sided dice...

sorry about the rant, but if you are forced to play as megaman how do you have any control over the ROLE y play???? games like these "rpg's" is a contradiction and a joke.

Put it this way. It is an RPG, like final fantasy, with the ability to gain boss abilities and power-ups/insane combos. I think its going to be pretty cool.
