I'm not going to say anything about which is better, because thats all opinion, but I just wanna leave you with a thought.

By the time you've payed for all the batteries for your controllers and your xbox live account, you've probably forked out more money than Ps3 players.

Okay maybe it isn't a huge amount of money but £67. 97 is still large enough to say that Playstation 3 isn't more expensive. However if you were to buy a Nintendo Wii with all the peripherals and online stuff it would cost the same as just a PS3 60GB package on it's own. So get a Wii if you can't afford either a 360 or a PS3

On the subject of console prices, there too close for me to care. If it were £500, fair enough, but it's a damn sight less than that. When it comes down to it, i'm going to base my purchase on other things. Games, capabilities, etc. Not because i'm saving a tenner that i'd waste elsewhere anyway.

Well, really you don't have to get wirless controllers and X-box live to have fun on a 360, I just played games for a couple of years and it cost alot less then a PS3

To be perfectly honest, the money doesn't really come into the equation for me. I'm still going to buy a PS3 out of mindless loyalty to Sony. It also looks a good bit better than the GayBox.

I like the menus better as well because they're the same as you get with the PSP. And you don't need batteries for the controllers. Neither do you have to pay if you want to go online, which you will...

..No they don't. My ps3 controller is wireless, and doesn't even need batteries. It can be recharged easily on it's own power supply

Yeah, the 360 is more expensive plus accessories. But no one buys ALL of those accessories. If you do what most people do you buy just the console. And then if you want live you tack on 60 bucks. The 360 is cheapest out of the 3 at its base price.

Now people may by more accessories for their console over time but $60 more bucks over a long period of time and not in one sitting is not that much at all. And that's saying if the person buys/wants that with their console.

1 person could pay more for their 360 set up and another could spend more on their Wii set up. It all depends on what their preference is. This is why I hate when you post this list because it's really only 1 way of setting it up.

I don't think the PS3 has many good games out. I liked ratchet and clank, I think they made a new one or something, but don't quote me on that. Plus, I'm not coughing out 400 bucks on a video game console, then another 60 bucks on the games. But i think Xbox 360 games are 60 bucks too though... meh. Also the 360 has way to many problems with it, it ruined 2 of my disks (I think thats what happened to them) and i had to send it back in. :\
