Just because something feels good doesn't mean it's good for you, likewise just because something feels bad doesn't mean it's bad for you.
Putting pressure on a wound hurts a lot, but it keeps it from bleeding and helps you to heal quicker.
Fatty foods taste great, but they're terrible for you.
Getting a shot hurts, but it keeps your immune system healthy.
Surely these are enough examples.
