DeDeDe is actually incredible, he can chainthrow most characters to death, and has incredible range.

Metaknight (best comboing and gimping ever, but lacks KO moves)
Wolf (combos, power, projectile)
Diddy (bananas, combos, speed)
DeDeDe (range and chainthrows)
Zelda (dins fire has INCREDIBLE range, great forward air, back air, good spike...)

Sonic (has no range or priority, little combo ability)

I have Wario as 1 of my mains, so I can't agree with Olimar and Wario being bad. You need to learn how to use them. Having said that;

Best-Sonic, ROB (he and Sonic are my best characters), Snake
Worst-Pokemon Trainer (the only one I can use well is Ivysaur, he's just so hard to use in general), Lucas (I hate him and Ness they're only good in target tests)

The best NEW one, I'd probably say wolf (I know he's just fox, but he has harder hitting moves)

I still have to say my favorite is still Kirby, I've been kicking ass with him since the start of this series.

The worst one (new and old) is probably Snake. Oh, he's good once you practice! I put a lot of hours into him and he STILL sucks, he doesn't even put up a fight when fighting him at level 9. The only reason I haven't just ignored him completely is because I still like those metal gear games (And using metal gear awesome jokes when with him).

Best- tie between Snake and Ike, because they're both totally awesome but snake is way overpowered.
Worst- probably Lucas, i mean he's just Ness except a lot more lame. Sonic is pretty bad though, just by sheer crappiness. Plus, what the fuck was up with Sonic's entrance in the final battle? I was like "WHAT THE HELL!?"

What the hell are you smoking? Meta Knight is totally badass, and he's a solid offensive speed character. He's fifty times less lame than Lucas and Sonic.
