Seriously, WTF? I'm for combatting racism but someone with a mental age of 5, cannot understand the nature of racism. The boy probably pushed her because he was pissed off by her. It's not even an assault and the matter was resolved anyway. I don't see why the police had to be involved in this situation, when is a known fact that the kid is disabled. The police have no common sense.

He's being satirical; of course you can be rascist against asians, but for some reason it doesn't register. This is because racism is not a physical or legal entity like a segregation law, a slave house, or something to that nature, it is a feeling, it is a fear.

My brother is a 'special needs' type of guy. He's 24, but has the outlook of a 10 year old. He'd tell authorities whatever it is he thought they wanted to hear because he'd be too scared to do anything else. >.<

I think some of you are missing the point. It's not about the fact that he pushed someone (which IS assault by the way), but about his intent. Racism can quickly spread like wildfire, and anti discrimination laws are very important to protect minorities rights and freedoms. That said, he is severely cognitively challenged and thus not entirely responsible for his actions; this incident should not have turned into a legal battle.
