Also, the deadline? It should be about the end of July. Right now, some people still need time for school finals and provincials... (me XD). This way, the animators will have one month of free time to work on it. Even with vacations, there will be more than enough time for people to make more parts, and allow people one month of summer to watch it. Seems reasonable.

The deadline for submitting entries is July 6th, exactly one month away. Even after said date, there's still much work to be done. Besides compiling the parts, we need to finish the intro and outro, create a new TV with working buttons, and put the final touches on the menu and pre-loader. I guessing the movie will be released roughly 2-3 weeks after the deadline. That is, if you're all willing to help me. :D

If anyone would like to help create the outro or new TV, drop me a line.

I'm sorry... I even tried to laugh but I couldn't...
I think there is so much more you could do with that "HOLY SHIT" voice clip. I would make good use of that.
Also I know you were trying for the voice clip "You coulda had a V8!" only because I read one of your previous posts. But it's a half assed clip... I couldn't even understand it and I don't think anyone else will.

Im sry, but just isn't funny... You should make it short and simple... you overdid it a lot... and the sound just sucked a lot... and the animation looked like a couple of small tweens...

So how can I make it more short and simple?

Oh, sorry. Yeah, I need to work on that. But if anyone could give some comment on what to add/remove, it would help a lot!
Also, if anyone has a Mac, can they check if the preloader works properly? I have a bad feeling that it won't... In which case I'll have to fix that.

Oh, and I'm working on some small parts. Nothing special, but I thought I'd try my hand.
And I'm also happy to help with any coding.

I would suggest...
Keeping the beginning with Mario and the mushroom.
Then having the V8 bottle hit him (like you did, but it may be a little unclear for some that it's a bottle...)
Then, having the "could've had a V8!" line (the sound clip needs improving, too much has been cut on each side of the clip.)
While that is happening, maybe you could have the V8 bottle come up to the front of the screen, prominent and "in-your-face" (just to add to the effect ;-) )
I think anything after this is just overkill...

And keep in mind that people from the UK (like me), and other places do not know V8 very well (we don't have the commercials or anything.) So don't expect everyone to get it completely!

Alright, so I am going to have to ask for help now.

I finally found another skit to make, but I am missing some resources I can't find. One is the sprite or sprite sheet of a crashed car, preferably not a toon-ish one. And the other is some kind of a News scenario, or anything that can serve as a background for a news reporter.

The crashed car is the one that I most need, because the other one I could probably make with some elements.

And the Pimp Tank! Remember, I spent ages telling you how the physics of it was horribly wrong? (And then went about in an attempt to repair it and show the new version to you. Either way, you ended up with better physics.)
Also, I spent ages getting a Mega-Tank sprite for you to use! I think I deserve more credit...
