That is indeed interesting news. I can finally post videos of a tour with my charity project and be able to share videos I like.

The bad thing is that there will be abuse and some people might post shock videos like 2 girls 1 cup or the Pain Olympics. You guys will need to keep on eye on that.

I'd rather that you would be able to hear a person's Audio Portal submissions while browsing their profile, or even be able to see their flash directly, but whatever, it's pretty cool.

Yeah Internet Explorer does that feature fine.

Firefox doesn't, I might try Safari and other browsers to see how many of them support this embedding.

Newgrounds is slowly turning into myspace, huh? It's an interesting idea, but personally I don't think it was all that warranted. There was no huge demand for it or anything (to my knowledge).

I just hope this feature doesn't make it unbearable to visit another user's profile. It's already bad enough with some of the pictures that some users like to put on their News Posts.

If you look at the window that pops up when you click the embed button you'll see that the blogs currently only embed videos from a handful of sites such as Youtube or GameTrailers so the chance of someone getting something horrible on one of them long enough to embed it on their blog is slim.

I think the video embed is an excellent idea if:

1. It doesn't transfer to the forums &
2. It is used correctly.

On my userpage I have made a post about films and simply put a trailer. I think this is good way to use the video embed.

I am not trying to blatantly advertise my userpage.
