Lol, I need to start reading the whole thread. Ignore my post, P-51 is holding down the fort. Also apparently I messed up calling it abstract, P-51 is correct in that this is 'Non-objective'. My bad.

It's too simplistic to be non-objective. Non-objective drawings are made to reveal the process of the piece. These are lazy.

Really only the first few pieces are lazy. The rest of them are good lines, and they show plenty of potential.

Also, that mustache shit wasn't abstract. The first post was sorta abstract, but it was poorly done and boring.

Art isn't what you want it to be; it's what everyone else likes, so think outside the box but don't expect to be able to scream "BASE!" and call everything "art" when you hit criticism.

But yeah, good stuff. Keep it up, and maybe try some pencil stuff if you only have Paint on your computer.

Noted.
I'll start making pictures in Gimp (Even though the program is working like shit for me) since MS paint is getting me nowhere. Right after this one.

Thanks. Unfortunately (Or fortunately for most of you) I might not be able to post any pictures for a while, because of stuff that's happening in my life right now. But that really doesn't matter much since I'm only about %2 done with my current picture I'm working on.

Why y'all being such negative nancies you fuckin faggots fffffff

Your art, you need more anatomy practice and try variegating between thicknesses of your lines. If its close up or you wish to give one or more objects more "alive", make the outlines on them thick. As for other non-important details like faded background scenarios and such, use just a bit thinner line. That way you can show clear contrasts, just try making it all consistent with each others altogether if you know what i mean.

Dry going back to the basics before developing an abstract style. Take an apple, set it on a table, and draw it exactly how you see it, shading and all.

I really appreciate the advice.
Gimp is being gay right now, and I haven't been able to post any pictures for a while now, but right now I'm just sketching out some pictures that I hope will be better.

First of all I think people are giving you a real hard time. The work it's self isn't bad. In fact there are some unique ideas in here. I would say that some of them lack definition. The eye of the viewer can get lost quite easily as they're many lines. But, like I said there are some pretty cool ideas. I especially like the drawing with the moustache, monocle and top hat and the old man as well. I think you started the thread wrong, saying "here's some of my terrible drawings", already influencing people's sub-conscience. Also it's bad for YOU to think negative about your own work. Keep posting, and ignore any comment that lacks structured criticism. They're just a waste of time for an artist.

I really appreciate the support. Its a huge relief.
But I don't mind if people leave bad comments. I'd rather they do that than sugarcoating it and not give any criticism. Still thanks a lot.
