This is a Society created to discuss the anime Code Geass

Code Geass currently is the most popular anime in Japan after its second season debut.

Code Geass summary:

Around 2010, a.t.b., the Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames, in less than a month. In the aftermath of Britannia's invasion, Japan lost its freedom and rights and was renamed Area 11. The Japanese people, renamed as "Elevens", were forced to survive in ghettos, while Britannians lived in first-class settlements. Rebel elements persisted, however, as pockets of Japanese organizations who struggled against the Empire for the independence of Japan.

After his father, the Emperor of Britannia, did nothing to pursue the terrorists who murdered his mother and crippled his sister, the young prince named Lelouch vowed to destroy Britannia. Seven years later, living in Area 11, he encounters a mysterious girl who gives him the power of Geass. With it, he finally has the power that he needs to defeat Britannia and fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister can live happily.

What are the rules?

- Standard BBS rules apply, no spamming, in-appropriate stuff etc. I will contact a mod if Noobs, alts and attention seekers constantly break rules.
- Try to refrain from pointless flaming.
- ABSOLUTELY NO PICTURE SPAMMING - it's annoying, and just makes whoever does it look really lame anyway.

You can name yourself one of the Characters too. I'm gonna be lelouche. Haha. >:)

Some people act like its the best anime ever, I personally disagree.

It was a good anime and all and had some really epic scenes, but there are better animes out there.

So like i said, the shows like Death Note, except better and the plot's moving pretty nicely so far.

Agreed, only I wouldn't say something like that on episode 2.

You should wait until later on in the show before saying something like that.

Bump and double post this anime is way too epic to let this thread die.

I'm quite disappointed with the latest episode of Geass, I mean now their in CHINA.

Their are several flaws with this.

1.) CHina has billions of people, they don't want a million elevens to boot.
2.) EVen on that huge-ass I don't see how a million elevens can fit on it.
3.) Lulu actually took off his helmet in front of that large crowd, FOR NOTHING! Whats further more is no one said anything!
4.) That means the normal LUlu is leaving school and not coming back, way to abandon all your friends without any explantion, smart.
5.) Everyone had their zero outfit in their bags, but how were all the helmets identical?

I don't expect the anime to be that great from now on for a while.

But I still wanna know what happened to Villetta towards the end of season one with all the guys breaking into the apartment with axes and such.

I've seen many similarities between Death Note and Code Geass, but with Code Geass the main character is certainly not evil (Light is so fuckin' evil). Also, Lelouch is sometimes comical and has funny friends, like Rival. But Death Note is better, because it's so deep and the character interactions are great.

Joined. I've seen the entire first season, and the first episode of the second season. Truly is one of the best Anime's out there, so yeah, joining. Also, a Code Geass DVD is gonna be released August 5, 2008.

It probably has something like 9-10 episodes on it, so everyone get excited for that.

Also, what do you guys think of the dub? I think it's captures the voices of the characters well.

I'd rather get a series by the season rather by half a season, its less confusing that way.

I actually like the dub, a few voices(Jeremiah's, for example) could be better but overall I would watch the series in Dub form if it weren't so far behind.

I love the show Code Geass! Mind if I join? If so I'll be Suzaku Kururugi since no one else chose him. I've only seen the english dubs on Adult Swim and I can't seem to find the other episodes of season 1 that are in english subs. Could someone help me find a website that has episodes of season 1?

I've been watching it on Adult Swim, it's pretty interesting so far. Something I find really annoying about the show is the fact its anime-art somewhat gets in the way of the story. Being an 11 and being a Britanian is a major thing in the show, and people respond differently to each faction...

But they both look exactly the same! It gets really confusing when people are like "oh my god he's british!" and I'm all "he looks exactly like you". Meh.

I'm totally addicted to code geass right now. I'm into the second season and it hasn't dissapointed me yet. Except with Suzaku. God i hate that white helmet. Always fucking things up, although i suppose thats the point.

Zero/Lelouch is a deliciously evil bastard. Great character.

Hey I've thought of something to discuss! According to the history of Britannia the year a.t.b. started after Caesar's invasion and according to our history that happened about 50 years before the year A.D. was established. So wouldn't that mean that the setting of Code Geass is actually in the past and not in the future?

THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR UP TO EPISODE 15 IN SEASON 2 OF CODE GEASS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

At 7/21/08 05:12 PM, CynicalScythe wrote: OKay who saw episode 15 of the second season? It was absolute isanity. It was just one twist after another. In my opinion the greatest episode of the entire show so far.

I actually haven't liked episodes 12 - 15 of season 2.

Episode 12 = Alright decent speed. If you get past all the boring tomfoolery their are A LOT of new devolpments that are important to the story. Lelouch going out with shirley, which lasts one episode, which was unexpected. But once they did start going out the end was expected.

Episode 13 = WAAAAAAY too fast. They just immediatly get lelouch and Shirley dating, have shirley regain all her memories and kill shirley all in two episodes all the while having several other plotlines going on. The Jeremiah plot twist was a bit annoying in my opinion.

I think Jeremiah should've died on season 1's final episode. I mean, Jeremiah was perfect for showing us "Ok so brittania is working on cybernetics and altering human DNA. And he made the final episode that much more interesting!" But all the moments involving Jeremiah in season 2 could've just as easily been an entirely new character who was also a cyborg.

'Cause it was such a WTF moment with the end of that episode considering they literally showed 0 fore shadows of this in advance so it's almost stupid.

Plus, if it was a new character who was the 'assassin' cyborg that jeremiah is they would've left the question after episode 13 "What happened to this guy after Marianne was killed? How'd he become a puppet to the order? Was it voluntary or was he forced too or was he crittically injured somehow and this was the only way for him to survive?"

Plus the fact we don't see SHirley getting killed by Rolo was another problem.

We see shirley talking then rolo starts looking at something and activates his Geass then we cut from the scene.

They made it look like someone was their(Behind shirley), rolo used his geass on them but was too late because that person already shot shirley.

That person runs off and rolo chases after him.

But NOPE, they had to make it obvious and make rolo kill her.

Episode 14: Again, the show is going way to fast.

When we were all expecting some unknown person to have killed shirley(Preferably Suzaku, if he shot shirley it would've been awesome!) they reveal that, unsurprisingly, rolo killed her. They revealed it in the first two minutes, too! Jeeze.

Then they assault and murder the order, easily.

jeeze if it was supposed to be a research factory you'd think it wouldn't be so much like an ancient temple and that their wouldn't be old people and children there to get in the way. Since it was amilitary compund you'd think it'd have SOME sort of defense and armed troops, but nope!

Bartley's death...was a bit sudden in my opinion.

Also despite Jeremiah being major in the previous episode he didn't do anything at all in this episode. Huh.

ALso it would've been nice if rolo did die, he's annoying.

EPisode 15: Too wacky for my tastes.

Again, too fast. I wasn't expecting anything that important about C.C's past to be revealed till at least season 3.

C.C's memory wipe was also annoying, I hope she isn't going to be a pointless character for a while now.

I also hope V.V's going to die, he's annoying as well.

C.C.'s motivations in life are now pretty clear, but Charles is still mostly shrouded in uncertainties. I still don't understand what he plans to do with Lelouch and Nunnally and why he let Marianna die. Is he a misunderstood self-sacrificing philanthropist doing everything for some greater good, or will he turn out to be a generic supervillain trying to take over the world just for the lulz?

Also it looks like, when Ohgi has been pratically pointless all season he's dead. He died a pointless death and it looks like VIlleta is going die too. Hurray!

And considering that we're only 15 episodes into the season, the story feels oddly close to end game, which by mecha-anime logic means that some kind of force-balancing reset must take place soon. My guess is that Lelouch will get his memories wiped again and a brainwashed Kallen will be sent undercover to capture C.C. by seducing Lelouch and using him as bait. It makes no sense but it will be awesome.

Yeah that applies in my post too.

I actually haven't liked episodes 12 - 15 of season 2.

:(

Episode 12 = Alright decent speed. If you get past all the boring tomfoolery their are A LOT of new devolpments that are important to the story. Lelouch going out with shirley, which lasts one episode, which was unexpected. But once they did start going out the end was expected.

Right this is where it all starts to pick up.

Episode 13 = WAAAAAAY too fast. They just immediatly get lelouch and Shirley dating, have shirley regain all her memories and kill shirley all in two episodes all the while having several other plotlines going on. The Jeremiah plot twist was a bit annoying in my opinion.

Oh come on. Orange-kun is awesome. At least i think so. And this is something thats going to come up alot in the in series. This anime may seem different and not to everyone's tastes because of the plot twists. The authors try to keep pepole on their feet and make every episode unexpected. I know that may not be to everyones taste but i personally love the fact that every episode has just left me in a "WTF?" moment. Amazing.

OKay yeah i can see where you're coming from with that. IT does seem like he completely changed his tune as soon as he found out that Lelouch was Zero. But thats a matter of taste. I personally like Orange, but have an unatural hatred for Suzaku.

'Cause it was such a WTF moment with the end of that episode considering they literally showed 0 fore shadows of this in advance so it's almost stupid.

That's all intentional. Its ment so you can't predict whatse coming. I personally like anime that doesn't follow teh basic formula of things.

Right, but i expect to see more character development in the future.

I dont see the real problem with that. When rolo activated his geass it was when shirley said that she knew who lelouch was. I was never once confused, or once thought there was someone behind her.

Episode 14: Again, the show is going way to fast.

:P

When we were all expecting some unknown person to have killed shirley(Preferably Suzaku, if he shot shirley it would've been awesome!) they reveal that, unsurprisingly, rolo killed her. They revealed it in the first two minutes, too! Jeeze.

Again not all of us. I was not expecting her to be shot by anyone else but rolo. I'm sorry you where unlucky enough to think that.

Then they assault and murder the order, easily.

They wheren't soldiers. THey where scientists. Also you know how all the knights starting feeling bad because it looks like there where massacreing innocents? Mutiny maybe?

jeeze if it was supposed to be a research factory you'd think it wouldn't be so much like an ancient temple and that their wouldn't be old people and children there to get in the way. Since it was amilitary compund you'd think it'd have SOME sort of defense and armed troops, but nope!

Well it was a "secret millitary" compound. One that the rest of the family wasn't supposed to know about. But still. I'll give you that one point.

Bartley's death...was a bit sudden in my opinion.

Who cares about Bartley? He's a terrible character.

Also despite Jeremiah being major in the previous episode he didn't do anything at all in this episode. Huh.

OH he will. THat "De-Geass" of his as i call it, will become vital.

ALso it would've been nice if rolo did die, he's annoying.

True, but think of him this way. He's the perfect pawn for Lelouch. He loves him dearly, and will do anything. Perfect pawn.

(also, i'll admit, i partly feel bad for him. Loving Lelouch so much only to be cast away at a later date. I think he wont die, and instead will probably try to kill Lelouch.

EPisode 15: Too wacky for my tastes.

I love wacky.

Again, too fast. I wasn't expecting anything that important about C.C's past to be revealed till at least season 3.

Well, i dont know. The best anime's dont run on that long. Hell i dont even know if i should expect a third season. If it stays with the quality it has now, perfect. Keep it going.

C.C's memory wipe was also annoying, I hope she isn't going to be a pointless character for a while now.

Maybe. But call me a weenie, but i thought it was very sad how scared she was of..well everything. Saying she can count till twenty, and dispose of bodies and what not.

I also hope V.V's going to die, he's annoying as well.

Me too.

Survival of the fittest? And that kind of uncertainty is good. It'll make for interesting plot development later on in the series.

Also it looks like, when Ohgi has been pratically pointless all season he's dead. He died a pointless death and it looks like VIlleta is going die too. Hurray!

I hate Oogi. If he was going to die, he would have done so by the end of the episode. THey dont do cliff hanger deaths. He's prolly jsut injured.

This isn't over. Not by a long shot. And sure it might make no sense, but who knows whats going to happen at this point. I still think the "wackiness" is just right. Because it keeps me guessing. And as for "going to fast" thats alright too. For me atleast.

He could've just as easily been two characters.

That's all intentional. Its ment so you can't predict whatse coming. I personally like anime that doesn't follow teh basic formula of things.

Well normally they show SOMETHING that foreshadows it.

Like nina splitting adams on like episode 15 or whatever of season 1, and coming back with a nuke on the final.....even thoguht it didn't work.

Plus the fact there was zero foreshadows of this can also be a bad thing.

You could just as easily say that the producers are making it all up as they go along.

I mean come on, in season 1 do you honestly think that the producers were planningon turning that maid, Sayoko, into a ninja?

I think not.

I dont see the real problem with that. When rolo activated his geass it was when shirley said that she knew who lelouch was. I was never once confused, or once thought there was someone behind her.

The problem is they made it no real mystery.

If they wanted to make it that obvious that rolo killed her they would've shown him killing her.

At least there could've of been that much more mystery in the plot if rolo didn't kill her.

P

I don't mind fast plots, its just its going way to fast that its like their trying to make it in time for the mid-season climax.

Again not all of us. I was not expecting her to be shot by anyone else but rolo. I'm sorry you where unlucky enough to think that.

That's sort of narrow minded, honestly.

They wheren't soldiers. THey where scientists.

Yeah but i'm sure Jeremiah wasn't the only cyborg warrior in the entire place.

And i'm sure V.V would provide them some sorts of body guards.

Who cares about Bartley? He's a terrible character.

I don't, its just his death was too sudden.

OH he will. THat "De-Geass" of his as i call it, will become vital.

Wasn't it called a geass canceller? I don't know, it could vary from subbers to subbers.

I'm sure it will, but it could just as easily one day work againest lelouch. Whether uts on jeremiah or someone else.

I'm pretty sure he will have a flashback episode at some point. I'm really sure of this.

Whether he's going to die or not is not one of my bigger concerns for the show.

Well, i dont know. The best anime's dont run on that long. Hell i dont even know if i should expect a third season. If it stays with the quality it has now, perfect. Keep it going.

Yeah, anime's that have small plot's like Haruhi S.

But this anime still has a lot of potiential, a lot of mysteries and a lot of characters who haven't been devolped.

Hell we've barely devolped Anya and Geno, let alone the remainning 9 Knight of rounds.

In fact, we've barely seen that much to do with lelouch or suzaku minus a few hints.

Plus this anime is doing very good, I doubt the anime makers plan on ending it any time soon.

Maybe. But call me a weenie, but i thought it was very sad how scared she was of..well everything. Saying she can count till twenty, and dispose of bodies and what not.

Your a weenie. :3

Me too.

It's not so much his character, it's more of his voice that annoys me.

Survival of the fittest? And that kind of uncertainty is good. It'll make for interesting plot development later on in the series.

If hes doing this just because of survival of the fittest he's no different from most generic anime villians.

But I agree with the ladder part of that quote.

I hate Oogi. If he was going to die, he would have done so by the end of the episode. THey dont do cliff hanger deaths. He's prolly jsut injured.

True.

And what do you mean about cliff hanger deaths? A lot of animes have an episode that ends with a cliffhanger where either a character is dead or dying.

This isn't over. Not by a long shot. And sure it might make no sense, but who knows whats going to happen at this point. I still think the "wackiness" is just right. Because it keeps me guessing. And as for "going to fast" thats alright too. For me atleast.

I don't mind a wacky scene every now and then, it just becomes a problem if the whole episode is wacky like episode 15 and I already said what I feel about fast animes.

I just hope that season 2 doesn't end with "Black knight almost beign eliminated, lelouch loses memories" again.

Cause this entire season has been like a remake of season 1 only with slightly different batttles, mechs, characters and plot twists.

THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR UP TO EPISODE 15 IN SEASON 2 OF CODE GEASS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Yeah, again. XD

:l

He was awesome in season 1, hes just been annoying this season.

Alright, now that is just personal opinion.

He could've just as easily been two characters.

It could've but then the creators would have lost that whole plot twist. And you know how they love thier plot twists.

Well normally they show SOMETHING that foreshadows it.

Well if you want some foreshadowing how's about looking at Lelouch's eyes again, as he's talking to CC at the end of the episode. Notice anything missing?

Seriously though I can understand where you're coming from. With no forshadowing everthing they show seems like it comes out of fucking no where, and can seem plain old sillly.

Like nina splitting adams on like episode 15 or whatever of season 1, and coming back with a nuke on the final.....even thoguht it didn't work.

And now her coming back with the huge weapon that basically imploded miles of land and will "Change warfare" forever?

Plus the fact there was zero foreshadows of this can also be a bad thing.

Yeah. I guess there could.

You could just as easily say that the producers are making it all up as they go along.

Okay i'll give you that. But it works for them (sorta) so i am not complaining.

I mean come on, in season 1 do you honestly think that the producers were planningon turning that maid, Sayoko, into a ninja?

First off, Sayoko=My favorite character. Its a ninja maid. I cannot possibly think of something to not like about that.

I think not.

Sure its a little silly. But i loved it.

The problem is they made it no real mystery.

So what? You want more wacky plot twists? Just because it is a very plot heavy anime doesn't mean that some things can't just happen.

If they wanted to make it that obvious that rolo killed her they would've shown him killing her.

Okay. Point for you. But who knows. Maybe them not showing it will have plot significance later on in the show? Maybe not?

At least there could've of been that much more mystery in the plot if rolo didn't kill her.

Right. But eventually the killer would have to be revealed so you're just begging them to throw in more wackyness.

I don't mind fast plots, its just its going way to fast that its like their trying to make it in time for the mid-season climax.

I think they have a pretty good idea as to where they want to go, and are just filling in the blanks until they reach that point. It doesn't seem that rushed for me. I think they are defnitely working towards something.

Again not all of us. I was not expecting her to be shot by anyone else but rolo. I'm sorry you where unlucky enough to think that.
That's sort of narrow minded, honestly.

How? Instead of starting to split hairs over why thinking that someone else shot her was wrong i just accepted that you thought that, and kept believing what I had thought in the first place? No seriously. Tell me how.

Yeah but i'm sure Jeremiah wasn't the only cyborg warrior in the entire place.

Possibly. Then again shit like that is expensive. How much do you think it costs to maintain a cyborg army? Also i'm sure charles doesn't want that many deadly warriors with the ability to counter his greatest power walking around. Of course this is all speculation.

And i'm sure V.V would provide them some sorts of body guards.

V.V? Charles maybe. But we would be missing the delicious forshadowing of the mutiny. At least thats what it looks like.

I don't, its just his death was too sudden.

I really dont see how. He didn't seem to have much plot significance to me. So him being killed that easily and that quickly didn't phase me at all.

Wasn't it called a geass canceller? I don't know, it could vary from subbers to subbers.

It probably was, but i like calling it the De-Geass.

I'm sure it will, but it could just as easily one day work againest lelouch. Whether uts on jeremiah or someone else.

Mhm. More forshadowing.

I'm pretty sure he will have a flashback episode at some point. I'm really sure of this.

Didn't he already? The whole "how many people have i killed? I dont know, How many times have you brushed your teeth?" thing? Where they show him when he was little.

Whether he's going to die or not is not one of my bigger concerns for the show.

Right. Rolo isn't my favorite character either.

Yeah, anime's that have small plot's like Haruhi S.

*Googles*

But this anime still has a lot of potiential, a lot of mysteries and a lot of characters who haven't been devolped.

Right.

Hell we've barely devolped Anya and Geno, let alone the remainning 9 Knight of rounds.

Right. I do think he's going to get at least one of them with the geass. But the whole nine knights thing, i hope they dont drag it on TOO long. They're probably going to develop a few of them at teh same time.

In fact, we've barely seen that much to do with lelouch or suzaku minus a few hints.

Right. Feild of bodies and such.

Plus this anime is doing very good, I doubt the anime makers plan on ending it any time soon.

God i hope they dont think it can last forever. I'm going to need closure. Especially with this anime.

Your a weenie. :3

And proud of it. :P

If hes doing this just because of survival of the fittest he's no different from most generic anime villians.

Right. Its probably some secret thing about C.C's origin's and that giant weapon. You know in the opening how they always show the two giant planets touching? Yeah. THat has to be important.

But I agree with the ladder part of that quote.

Woo!

And what do you mean about cliff hanger deaths? A lot of animes have an episode that ends with a cliffhanger where either a character is dead or dying.

Right. But i've never seen it in Code Geass. They always explicitly show a character dying. They dont usually save it for the next episode in a "maybe they did, maybe they didn't" also they wouldn't let him go without him doing the "Blah blah. Kallen's brother blah blah I love chigusa....blah blah *dead*" thing.

I don't mind a wacky scene every now and then, it just becomes a problem if the whole episode is wacky like episode 15 and I already said what I feel about fast animes.

As have I.

I just hope that season 2 doesn't end with "Black knight almost beign eliminated, lelouch loses memories" again.

Cause this entire season has been like a remake of season 1 only with slightly different batttles, mechs, characters and plot twists.

I just hope it doesn't end with "Black knights rebel against lelouch, and he wins them back." that would be very boring. I dont think he'll lose his memories. Remember charles can't do that anymore. But he is immortal.

Spoilers, spoilers, spoilers.

At 7/23/08 10:01 AM, CynicalScythe wrote: Alright, now that is just personal opinion.

It's still valid.

It could've but then the creators would have lost that whole plot twist. And you know how they love thier plot twists.

Like I said, at least some fore shadows would've made it all the more while.

You know the kinds of foreshadows I mean, you don't notice them the first time you watch the show but if you rewatch the show you say to yourself "Damn, it was so obvious about that twist! I must be an idiot for not noticing this orignally!"

Well if you want some foreshadowing how's about looking at Lelouch's eyes again, as he's talking to CC at the end of the episode. Notice anything missing?

Mabye it's his geass restrainning lense?

Seriously though I can understand where you're coming from. With no forshadowing everthing they show seems like it comes out of fucking no where, and can seem plain old sillly.

Agreed.

It's like Lost only it's an anime and and Lost contains 10 times more WTF moments.

And now her coming back with the huge weapon that basically imploded miles of land and will "Change warfare" forever?

The first nucular bomb.

I could tell what they work working on in season 2 from the start though...I mean you can tell from the design of that research factory that it includes splitting adams and cucular testing.

Okay i'll give you that. But it works for them (sorta) so i am not complaining.
First off, Sayoko=My favorite character. Its a ninja maid. I cannot possibly think of something to not like about that.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's just that it was soooooooo out of the blue it was like they created it just so they could have a fight sequence in episode 13.

So what? You want more wacky plot twists? Just because it is a very plot heavy anime doesn't mean that some things can't just happen.

True.

Okay. Point for you. But who knows. Maybe them not showing it will have plot significance later on in the show? Maybe not?

I don't see how.

Unless it really was some unknown 3rd party(Or indivual) who killed her and he/she/they black mailed rolo or something? Doubt it, though.

Right. But eventually the killer would have to be revealed so you're just begging them to throw in more wackyness.

I wouldn't call that wacky.

I'd call that suspense, I would call wacky those bizarre C.C devolpment moments where everything goes all white and whatnot.

And Suzaku would no longer be a cunt who everybody hates if he was the one who killed shirley.

I think they have a pretty good idea as to where they want to go, and are just filling in the blanks until they reach that point. It doesn't seem that rushed for me. I think they are defnitely working towards something.

You and I have a different view on it, but that doesn't make either of our opinions any more or any less valid.

How? Instead of starting to split hairs over why thinking that someone else shot her was wrong i just accepted that you thought that, and kept believing what I had thought in the first place? No seriously. Tell me how.

It's soo obvious it's boring.

It was basically the same as in death note if L or light plans something and they tell us it immediatly after in the next minute so their isn't any suspense or mystery.

Possibly. Then again shit like that is expensive. How much do you think it costs to maintain a cyborg army? Also i'm sure charles doesn't want that many deadly warriors with the ability to counter his greatest power walking around. Of course this is all speculation.

I think the geass canceller was an attachment exclusive to Jeremiah.

But their still should've been SOME defense in the place.

I really dont see how. He didn't seem to have much plot significance to me. So him being killed that easily and that quickly didn't phase me at all.

Well on his dying breath he was talking about clovis and him catching C.C and all that, meaning he was a part too all that i'm really curious as to how.

He also saved Schneizel's ass once apparently, another thing i'm curious about.

De-Geass.

Trying saying that 20 times wicked fast.

Mhm. More forshadowing.

Which is a plus for the show in my opinion.

Didn't he already? The whole "how many people have i killed? I dont know, How many times have you brushed your teeth?" thing? Where they show him when he was little.

That was like a one minute scene, barely anything signafficant.

It's that heart locket he caries around with him that goes unexplainned that keeps his character alive and a flash back episode assured.

*Googles*

You've never heard of Haruhi S.?

How are you a memeber of the /A/, that's like one of the most known animes out there!

Right. I do think he's going to get at least one of them with the geass. But the whole nine knights thing, i hope they dont drag it on TOO long. They're probably going to develop a few of them at teh same time.

I hope it doesn't turn into a bleach/naruto like thing "LOL 3 EPISODES JUST TO SHOW A FIGHT WITH #11 AND KALLEN TOTALLY GOT HER ASS HANDED TO HER AGAINEST #6, LET ALONE WHAT WILL AHPPEN IF SHE GOES UP AGAINEST #1. HUR HUR"

Right. Feild of bodies and such.

I think the producers have forgotten they haven't explained the two main characters well.

They are already starting to explain the main bad guy in the show, before the main characters are finished with their past-explainning.

That is a bad formula in most animes.

God i hope they dont think it can last forever. I'm going to need closure. Especially with this anime.

Same, same.

Heres hoping for three seasons.....two seasons is too little as 4+ just seems unneeded.

And proud of it. :P

SHOUT IT LOUD AND CLEAR. :D

Right. Its probably some secret thing about C.C's origin's and that giant weapon. You know in the opening how they always show the two giant planets touching? Yeah. THat has to be important.

I've always thought of that as some sort of symbolism and never as anything signafficant.

Hmmm.

Well in the newest opening

also they wouldn't let him go without him doing the "Blah blah. Kallen's brother blah blah I love chigusa....blah blah *dead*" thing.

What are you talking about?

Remeber senpa, the guy with the weird thing on his head? He died a pathetic death, he barely got to say "I wanted to see japan get liberated first" before dying.

They never even mention him again or anything.

Same thing with Ghuel from season 1.

I just hope it doesn't end with "Black knights rebel against lelouch, and he wins them back." that would be very boring. I dont think he'll lose his memories. Remember charles can't do that anymore. But he is immortal.

I have a feeling Lelouch is going to fulfill his goal of eliminating the entire royal family and finiding out what happens to his mother.

He takes over the world and becomes careless.

Suzaku manages to kill lelouch for being an evil bastard saying he's changing thw world from within.

Some unknown, good 3rd party takes over.
