Allright, origianl topic time!

Stuff that you like that few people around you understand or like themselves.

I personally have a taste for a certain cheap brand of cola. it's not one of the name brands, but neither is it the cheapest option. I also like drinking half-litre bottles of mountain dew, for some reason 1,5 liter ones don't taste the same.

Much of my music-listening habits aren't shared by my close ones, nor the people on the internet I usually converse with, causing few clashes every now and then.

Also, saying stuff like "raping dead baby rhinos" or something equally or less creative related to violence, sexuality or bodily funtions is generally not funny, seriously, it's not, neither is it bellyachingly ironic if you post just that because I told you not to.

I sometimes go to Aldi and get me four bottles of cheap cola because it's like, 36 pence and I love it when it's flat. I also love the cheap chocolate bars they do at Tesco (used to be 10 pence). Sure, it's cheap but I just love the taste of it. Cheap pizza takeaways are also a yes in my opinion.

That happens alot where I am. Hardly anyone has heard of what I've heard of. (e.g. iForward, Russia!, Test Icicles, radiohead, Ash, The Enemy, The Wombats, etc.) and if they have, they don't like it and say my taste in music is absolute shite. The good thing about my taste in everything is that I'll accept everything and like it in the end.

I also always love a decent foreign film but nobody around me thinks they're any good because they're way too lazy to read the subtitles. Seriously, they're missing out on loads of great films and in my opinion, foreign films can be the most heartwarming. (e.g. Amelie)

Hmm i would have to say my taste in music. Only 1 of my friends has the same taste. Everyone else either listens to modern bands only or listens to (c)rap. I listen to rock in general btw. I can listen to most things though, except rap and all that.

- My musical taste. Since most of my classmates listen to old thrash and can't seem to realize that new music is not automatically crap, they seem to have a problem with me listening to bands like Ensiferum, Wintersun, Moonsorrow, Eluveitie, Finntroll and Norther, for instance.
- For some reason, I can't be arsed to make a playlist for Winamp. I always browse to the song I'd like to play manually and play it. This, however is not the case with Linux and Amarok.
- I sometimes laugh at pointless stuff that really isn't funny.
- Airsoft, which is my hobby. My classmates are somewhat OK with it, but the guys from other classes are driving me insane at times. Grow up, for god's sake.

I have that same problem. Usually putting the bottle in a freezer for some time should do the trick. I think it's the fact that Mountain Dew tastes absolutely awful when it's warm (whereas other sodas are still drinkable). 1.5 liter bottles are kept on the shelves in the stores, 0.5 liter bottles are in the refrigerators.

When it comes to Cola, I think Pepsi is absolutely delicious.

I like sushi. It's not that bizarre, I know. But whenever I tell someone I like it they spaz out and scream "OMG HOW CAN YOU EAT RAW FISH", even though the sushi I get doesn't contain raw fish. When I explain this to them, they seem to not believe me and continue to keep up their "HOW CAN U EAT DAT" nonsense.

I also like jam and cheese sandwiches.

And I can eat jalapenos on anything.

I drink Heineken, which seems to garnish a lot of criticism.

I smoke Marlboros, and can't force myself to smoke anything else for the life of me.

I listen to a lot of Industrial shit, such as Turmion Katliot, Psyclon Nine, Oomph, Samael, etc, and then I turn around and listen to shit such as Nightwish, Epica, Nemesea, etc... I listen to maybe 3 or 4 bands from America, and that seems to raise quite a stir among people I hang out with.
