I used to know Mr. Ignat quite well and I'm surprised...

What they have done is fucking stupid, if they really didn't trust you they would have cut you out from the start.. this is just plain scam.

Lesson to be learned: don't work with people on the assumption that they won't asshole you further down the line. Toxicportal.com is finished but not much is going to stop them from starting a new portal under a different name.

Well, the good thing is that we all at least know about them, making it harder for them to scam us and people in general. Sure, people get away with a lot of things on the Internet, but running a website that people strongly suspect of being a scam isn't really profitable in the long run, people simply won't trust you. Sponsors, advertisers, developers, etc, don't take too nicely to that kind of stuff.
