A Brilliant Idea!

OK, so maybe this isn't brilliant, but whatever. I was thinking about it, and zero-bombers are really, really annoying around the audio portal, right? So, what if you had to leave a review if you vote zero on a song? That could lead possibly to a bunch of short, spammy reviews everywhere, but those can be marked as abusive and deleted, right? I think that it's a pretty good idea, but I haven't put a whole lot of thought into it, so don't be harsh in explaining anything wrong with it.

I honestly think that that could work. Forcing people who vote zero to leave a review would either identify or discourage mindless zero-ers. Those who just say "fgsdfds! u sux!" would then be review banned after they were reported, thus banned from voting zero. Not to mention the free whistle points. Everyone loves whistle points.

Sure, it would force you to expend more time and effort getting blam points, but it'd also bump your review count quite quickly.

There are speedbumps here, but they could be paved over.

Wait so then you would get a bunch of zero bombers with making spammy reviews which would increase the workload of the review mods, which fair enough might get some zero bombers banned through shit reviewing, but as a zero bomber my first thoughts would be to create an alt account to zero bomb, creating more of a problem.

I think it's a good idea but maybe have it come up if they keep mass voting it down/up/etc. Say someone keeps fiving a flash of their friend's, if they wanted to keep doing it (after doing it for four days or something), they'd have to write a review. But yeah, I agree with the idea, sounds good.

That is a good idea too. Although I don't think it would be possible unless they made it so that you can't skip to anywhere in the song whenever you want. I dunno. =P

In the words of Gene Hunt: "this city runs on a system of checks and balances" There are people who vote 5 on everything, so there NEED to be 0-bombers, otherwise every peice of crap would get in.
