I don't know, I'm a bit iffy about it all, it's no problem me getting to London, quick ride up, I just don't know if Newgrounds is ready for real life Gagsy.
It's up to you, but I think that's a pretty poor excuse not to go. It's just a day of tons of fun. Or a night of tons of fun, depending on how long you stay.
I agree, the basic gameplan based on past times is this... meet at the london eye at about 1pm... when we have a big enough group we goto the arcade for awhile (i think this year people wanted to play football?) ... eventually we get a few more people to show up.. then we find something else to do.. generally the older folks stick around later in the evening to go on a pub crawl or something 18+... but anyones welcome to leave or show up whenever... obviously it becomes more challenging to track us down later in the day when we are no longer in that general waterloo area...
anyone can show up... you can be a die hard forum goer... an award winning animator... god of actionscripting.. moderator.. new user.. whatever.. people who know alot about the site tend to have a better time tho... youll find more things in common with others duh.
Regarding the TYPES of people.... well most people that DO show up are in their late teens - mid twenties... it doesnt mean you arent welcome if you dont fit into those categories but just know that you'll be around people not within your age range and if late in the day everyone wants to goto something 18+ like a pub, well then your shit out of luck if you dont fill the req....
The way i see it.. the worst case scenario. Youll find the whole thing boring in the first hour and you can go home or disappear into the distance.
the end, youll atleast be out of the curiousity.
