also, an alternate plan to try to use one of their less frequented services and see a friend of mine on the way is obviously out as it'd cost me three times as much, bastards. will use the phone in the morning, assuming national excess have a number that you can use.

when i say morning, i mean when i get up.

National Express sucks donkey dick. Trains are usually better in terms of space, but can be difficult to get to from Airports and such. Just shop around for alternative transport means.

From Cheshire to London by hitchhiking would take quite a while, if you hold up a registration plate people are more likely to pick you up as people use this as a means to go up and down the country, working at garages and stuff.

Huh, i would be kinda tempted to come to some of the meets prior to the main one on Saturday if it wasn't for the fact that, i would be the youngest there, i would probably be more annoying, than a good piece of company and i don't think i would be able to afford all those top notch Mexican foods ;)

The first meet I can actually make... but I'm not sure if anybody has a clue who I am these days so it's not really all that worth it... is it? Somebody tempt me to come! =p

Since I'm hosting this whole London Meet, someone suggested it would be a good way to start it by having dinner at a mexican themed establishment, since everyone seems obsessed with thinking im mexican. Long story short.... I did some research, came up with this.

Since we are a large group, a reservation will need to be made. I will do that next week, it is essential that you get in contact with me if you would like to attend.

I should have a UK 'rubber phone' next week so that people can ring me up.

You need to PM The-Super-Flash-Bros and tell them to add you to his reservation.. Tom Vian, was the one making it because im obviously half a world away at the moment and he volunteered to do it on my behalf. I had a reservation for 11 but im fairly sure we are more like 13 now.

Sorry, I read the first page, but didn't want to read the next 23 pages before this one. If I decided to go to London for the meet, it'd only be for the daytime on one day.

Because some of us are coming from further afield, we'll be staying longer than one day. However, the main meet is still the London eye/Namco arcade deal on Saturday, I believe.

Yeah about that dinner next Thursday. Do to the large size of the group, the place we originally had in mind is forcing us to order from a specific menu which is way out of the budget I'm alotted for it SO.. we're going to find an alternative.

Stand by on that. I'm workin on it. What we will probably do to keep it simple is have anyone interested in that dinner gathering to meet at the flat where everyones staying at in Russell Square and then we'll sort it out from there.

I'm removing that itinerary off the hub page shortly.

Random elusive update:

Me and Tom {SFB} have been talking to a few places and may have nailed one particular restaurant. However, you have to wait till Tues for official confirmation from either Luis or Tom, as this place can't take group bookings till then.

It's shaving it really fine time wise, but we should be ok. I won't spoil the surprise by naming said retaurant either so you nosey people have to wait.

fuck it, i'll just get a train instead. not sure when i'd get down as i'd likely leave early saturday instead of late friday. would need to check times carefully now, and might go friday anyway if it'd cause a lot less hassle.

Bad news guys, looks like I can't make it this year, but for different reasons that I originally thought.

Basically, my family is in a bit of a financial pickle (won't go into details), and they need to borrow some money off me. Considering the amount of money, and the fact that my actual student loan doesn't come through until mid-September, I'm having to eat into my overdraft to give them the money for now, so I doubt I'll be able to even afford to get up to London, let alone go to any bars and all that cool stuff.

Really sucks, but it can't be avoided, and I'm hoping that another meet will happen next year as I'll be living in western London then, so I'll be around for definite, and my financial stuff will hopefully be resolved. I had a hunch that I might not be able to make it this time around, and tried not to get my hopes up too high, but I'm still pretty gutted.

Hope y'all have a great time nonetheless, and I hope to see you next year instead.

There should be everything you need from directions, maps, timetables and other shit going on outside of the meet event. Friday is purposely not preplanned because theres too many people flying in, train in, bus in. I plan to just play it by ear.

I'm not updating the roster list anymore so dont PM me requesting to be added/removed, its redundant. Show up if you want, dont if you dont. Simple.
